5This is whatכֹּֽה־koh-H3541Godהָאֵ֣ל׀ha.'ElH410the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559—He who createdבּוֹרֵ֤אbo.Re'H1254the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and stretched them outוְנ֣וֹטֵיהֶ֔םve.No.tei.HemH5186,who spread outרֹקַ֥עro.Ka'H7554the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776and its offspringוְצֶאֱצָאֶ֑יהָve.tze.'e.tza.'Ei.haH6631,who givesנֹתֵ֤ןno.TenH5414breathנְשָׁמָה֙ne.sha.MahH5397to the peopleלָעָ֣םla.'AmH5971on itעָלֶ֔יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921and lifeוְר֖וּחַve.Ru.achH7307to those who walkלַהֹלְכִ֥יםla.ho.le.KhimH1980in it:

6“Iאֲנִ֧י'a.NiH589,the LORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068,have called youקְרָאתִ֥יךָֽke.ra.Ti.chaH7121for a righteous purposeבְצֶ֖דֶקve.Tze.dekH6664,and I will take holdוְאַחְזֵ֣קve.'ach.ZekH2388of your handבְּיָדֶ֑ךָbe.ya.De.khaH3027.I will keep youוְאֶצָּרְךָ֗ve.'e.tza.re.KhaH5341and appoint youוְאֶתֶּנְךָ֛ve.'e.ten.KhaH5414to be a covenantלִבְרִ֥יתliv.RitH1285for the peopleעָ֖ם'amH5971and a lightלְא֥וֹרle.'orH216to the nationsגּוֹיִֽם׃go.YimH1471,

7to openלִפְקֹ֖חַlif.Ko.achH6491the eyesעֵינַ֣יִם'ei.Na.yimH5869of the blindעִוְר֑וֹתiv.RotH5787,to bringלְהוֹצִ֤יאle.ho.Tzi'H3318prisonersאַסִּ֔יר'a.SirH616out of the dungeonמִמַּסְגֵּר֙mi.mas.GerH4525and those sittingיֹ֥שְׁבֵיYo.she.veiH3427in darknessחֹֽשֶׁךְ׃Cho.shekhH2822out from the prisonכֶּ֖לֶאKe.le'H3608houseמִבֵּ֥יתmi.BeitH1004.

8Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068;thatה֣וּאhu'H1931is My nameשְׁמִ֑יshe.MiH8034!I will notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808yieldאֶתֵּ֔ן'e.TenH5414My gloryוּכְבוֹדִי֙u.khe.vo.DiH3519to anotherלְאַחֵ֣רle.'a.CherH312or My praiseוּתְהִלָּתִ֖יu.te.hi.la.TiH8416to idolsלַפְּסִילִֽים׃la.pe.si.LimH6456.

9Beholdהִנֵּה־hi.neh-H2009,the former thingsהָרִֽאשֹׁנ֖וֹתha.ri.sho.NotH7223have happenedבָ֑אוּVa.'uH935,and now Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589declareמַגִּ֔ידma.GidH5046new thingsוַֽחֲדָשׁוֹת֙va.cha.da.shOtH2319.Beforeבְּטֶ֥רֶםbe.Te.remH2962they spring forthתִּצְמַ֖חְנָהtitz.Mach.nahH6779I proclaim themאַשְׁמִ֥יע'ash.Mi'H8085to youאֶתְכֶֽם׃ פ'et.KhemH853.”

10Singשִׁ֤ירוּShi.ruH7891to the LORDלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068a newחָדָ֔שׁcha.DashH2319songשִׁ֣ירshirH7892—His praiseתְּהִלָּת֖וֹte.hi.la.ToH8416from the endsמִקְצֵ֣הmik.TzehH7097of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776—you who go downיוֹרְדֵ֤יyor.DeiH3381to the seaהַיָּם֙hai.YamH3220,and all that is in itוּמְלֹא֔וֹu.me.lo.'OH4393,you islandsאִיִּ֖ים'i.YimH339,and all who dwell in themוְיֹשְׁבֵיהֶֽם׃ve.yo.she.vei.HemH3427.

11Let the desertמִדְבָּר֙mid.BarH4057and its citiesוְעָרָ֔יוve.'a.RavH5892raise their voicesיִשְׂא֤וּyis.'UH5375; letthe villagesחֲצֵרִ֖יםcha.tze.RimH2691תֵּשֵׁ֣בte.ShevH3427of Kedarקֵדָ֑רke.DarH6938cry aloud.Let the peopleיֹ֣שְׁבֵיYo.she.veiH3427of Selaסֶ֔לַעSe.la'H5554sing for joyיָרֹ֙נּוּ֙ya.Ro.nuH7442;let them cry outיִצְוָֽחוּ׃yitz.Va.chuH6681from the mountaintopsמֵרֹ֥אשׁ הָרִ֖יםme.Rosh ha.RimH7218 H2022.
