2who indeedכִּֽי־ki-H3588call yourselvesנִקְרָ֔אוּnik.Ra.'uH7121after the holyהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ha.Ko.deshH6944cityמֵעִ֤ירme.'IrH5892and leanנִסְמָ֑כוּnis.Ma.khuH5564onוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478;the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635isHis nameשְׁמֽוֹ׃ סshe.MoH8034.

3I foretoldהִגַּ֔דְתִּיhi.Gad.tiH5046the former thingsהָרִֽאשֹׁנוֹת֙ha.ri.sho.nOtH7223long agoמֵאָ֣זme.'AzH227;they cameיָצְא֖וּya.tze.'UH3318out of My mouthוּמִפִּ֥יu.mi.PiH6310and I proclaimed themוְאַשְׁמִיעֵ֑םve.'ash.mi.'EmH8085.Suddenlyפִּתְאֹ֥םpit.'OmH6597I actedעָשִׂ֖יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213,and they came to passוַתָּבֹֽאנָה׃va.ta.Vo.nahH935.

4For I knewמִדַּעְתִּ֕יmi.da'.TiH3045thatכִּ֥יkiH3588youאָ֑תָּה וְגִ֤יד'A.tah ve.GidH859 H1517are stubbornקָשֶׁ֖הka.ShehH7186;your neckעָרְפֶּ֔ךָ'a.re.Pe.khaH6203is ironבַּרְזֶל֙bar.ZelH1270and your foreheadוּמִצְחֲךָ֖u.mitz.cha.KhaH4696isbronzeנְחוּשָֽׁה׃ne.chu.ShahH5154.

5Therefore I declared itוָאַגִּ֤ידva.'a.GidH5046to youlong agoמֵאָ֔זme.'AzH227;I announced itהִשְׁמַעְתִּ֑יךָhish.ma'.Ti.khaH8085beforeבְּטֶ֥רֶםbe.Te.remH2962it came to passתָּב֖וֹאta.Vo'H935,so that you could notפֶּן־pen-H6435claimתֹּאמַר֙to.MarH559, ‘My idolעָצְבִּ֣י'a.tze.BiH6090has done thisעָשָׂ֔ם'a.SamH6213;my carved imageוּפִסְלִ֥יu.fis.LiH6459and molten godוְנִסְכִּ֖יve.nis.KiH5262has ordained itצִוָּֽם׃tzi.VamH6680.’

6You have heardשָׁמַ֤עְתָּֽsha.Ma'.taH8085these things;look at themחֲזֵה֙cha.ZehH2372allכֻּלָּ֔הּku.LahH3605.Will youוְאַתֶּ֖םve.'a.TemH859notהֲל֣וֹאha.Lo'H3808acknowledgeתַגִּ֑ידוּta.Gi.duH5046them?From now onמֵעַ֔תָּהme.'A.tahH6258I will tell you ofהִשְׁמַעְתִּ֤יךָhish.ma'.Ti.khaH8085new thingsחֲדָשׁוֹת֙cha.da.shOtH2319,hidden thingsוּנְצֻר֖וֹתu.ne.tzu.RotH5341unknown to youוְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽם׃ve.Lo' ye.da'.TamH3808 H3045.

7They are createdנִבְרְאוּ֙niv.re.'UH1254nowעַתָּ֤ה'a.TahH6258,and notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808long agoמֵאָ֔זme.'AzH227;you have notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808heard of themשְׁמַעְתָּ֑םshe.ma'.TamH8085beforeוְלִפְנֵי־ve.lif.nei-H6440todayי֖וֹםYomH3117.So you cannotפֶּן־pen-H6435claimתֹּאמַ֖רto.MarH559, ‘I alreadyהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009knew themיְדַעְתִּֽין׃ye.da'.TinH3045!’

9For the sakeלְמַ֤עַןle.Ma.'anH4616of My nameשְׁמִי֙she.MiH8034I will delayאַאֲרִ֣יךְ'a.'a.RikhH748My wrathאַפִּ֔י'a.PiH639;for the sake of My praiseוּתְהִלָּתִ֖יu.te.hi.la.TiH8416I will restrain itאֶחֱטָם־'e.che.tom-H2413,so that you will notלְבִלְתִּ֖יle.vil.TiH1115be cut offהַכְרִיתֶֽךָ׃hakh.ri.Te.khaH3772.

10Seeהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009,I have refined youצְרַפְתִּ֖יךָtze.raf.Ti.khaH6884,but notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808as silverבְכָ֑סֶףve.Kha.sefH3701;I have testedבְּחַרְתִּ֖יךָbe.char.Ti.khaH977you in the furnaceבְּכ֥וּרbe.KhurH3564of afflictionעֹֽנִי׃'O.niH6040.

12Listenשְׁמַ֤עshe.Ma'H8085to Meאֵלַי֙'e.LaiH413,O Jacobיַֽעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290,and Israelוְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,whom I have calledמְקֹרָאִ֑יme.ko.ra.'IH7121:Iאֲנִי־'a.ni-H589am Heהוּא֙hu'H1931;Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589am the firstרִאשׁ֔וֹןri.ShonH7223,and I amאַ֖ף אֲנִ֥י'af 'a.NiH589 H637the lastאַחֲרֽוֹן׃'a.cha.RonH314.

13Surelyאַף־'af-H637My own handיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027foundedיָ֣סְדָהYa.se.dahH3245the earthאֶ֔רֶץ'E.retzH776,and My right handוִֽימִינִ֖יvi.mi.NiH3225spread outטִפְּחָ֣הti.pe.ChahH2946the heavensשָׁמָ֑יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064;when Iאֲנִ֛י אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם'a.Ni 'a.lei.HemH589 H413summon themקֹרֵ֥אko.Re'H7121,they stand upיַעַמְד֥וּya.'am.DuH5975togetherיַחְדָּֽו׃yach.DavH3162.
