7Now it wasוַיְהִ֕יvay.HiH1961inעִם־'im-H5973the heartלְבַ֖בle.VavH3824of my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1Davidדָּוִ֣ידda.VidH1732to buildלִבְנ֣וֹתliv.NotH1129a houseבַּ֔יִתBa.yitH1004for the Nameלְשֵׁ֥םle.ShemH8034of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

8But the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413my fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1Davidדָּוִ֣ידda.VidH1732, ‘Sinceיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834it wasהָיָה֙ha.YahH1961inעִם־'im-H5973your heartלְבָ֣בְךָ֔le.Va.ve.khaH3824to buildלִבְנ֥וֹתliv.NotH1129a houseבַּ֖יִתBa.yitH1004for My Nameלִשְׁמִ֑יlish.MiH8034,you have done wellהֱֽטִיב֔וֹתָheti.Vo.taH2895to have thisכִּ֥י הָיָ֖הki ha.YahH3588 H1961inעִם־'im-H5973your heartלְבָבֶֽךָ׃le.va.Ve.khaH3824.

9Neverthelessרַ֣קrakH7535,youאַתָּ֔ה'a.TahH859are notלֹ֥אlo'H3808the one to buildתִבְנֶ֖ה הַבָּ֑יִתtiv.Neh ha.Ba.yitH1129 H1004it;butכִּ֤יkiH3588your sonבִנְךָ֙vin.KhaH1121,your own offspringהַיּוֹצֵ֣א מֵֽחֲלָצֶ֔יךָ הֽוּא־hai.yo.Tze' me.cha.la.Tzei.kha hu'-H3318 H2504 H1931,will buildיִבְנֶ֥הyiv.NehH1129the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004for My Nameלִשְׁמִֽי׃lish.MiH8034.’

11And there I have placedוָאָשִׂ֥ים שָׁם֙ אֶת־va.'a.Sim sham 'et-H7760 H8033 H853the arkהָ֣אָר֔וֹןha.'a.RonH727,which containsשָׁ֖םshamH8033אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834He madeכָּרַ֖תka.RatH3772withעִם־'im-H5973the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.”

12Then Solomon stoodוַֽיַּעֲמֹ֗דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068in front ofנֶ֖גֶדNe.gedH5048the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605assemblyקְהַ֣לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478and spread outוַיִּפְרֹ֖שׂvai.yif.RosH6566his handsכַּפָּֽיו׃ka.PavH3709.

13Nowכִּֽי־ki-H3588Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֜הshe.lo.MohH8010had madeעָשָׂ֨ה'a.SahH6213a bronzeנְחֹ֗שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178platformכִּיּ֣וֹרki.YorH3595fiveחָמֵ֨שׁcha.MeshH2568cubitsאַמּ֜וֹת'a.MotH520longאָרְכּ֗וֹ'a.re.KoH753,fiveוְחָמֵ֤שׁve.cha.MeshH2568cubitsאַמּוֹת֙'a.mOtH520wideרָחְבּ֔וֹra.che.BoH7341,and threeשָׁל֖וֹשׁsha.Lo.oshH7969cubitsוְאַמּ֥וֹתve.'a.MotH520highקוֹמָת֑וֹko.ma.ToH6967and had placed itוַֽיִּתְּנֵהוּ֮vai.yi.te.ne.HuH5414in the middleבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the courtyardהָעֲזָרָה֒ha.'a.za.RahH5835.He stoodוַיַּעֲמֹ֣דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975on itעָלָ֗יו'a.LavH5921,knelt downוַיִּבְרַ֤ךְ עַל־ בִּרְכָּיו֙vai.yiv.Rakh 'al- bir.KavH1288 H5921 H1290beforeנֶ֚גֶדNe.gedH5048the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605assemblyקְהַ֣לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,spread outוַיִּפְרֹ֥שׂvai.yif.RosH6566his handsכַּפָּ֖יוka.PavH3709toward heavenהַשָּׁמָֽיְמָה׃ha.sha.Ma.ye.mahH8064,
