Hebrews 2:2-9
2For if the wordG3056 spokenG2980 through angelsG32 proved stedfast, and every transgressionG3847 and disobedienceG3876 receivedG2983 a just recompense of rewardG3405; 3howG4459 shall we escapeG1628, if we neglect so greatG5082 a salvationG4991? which having at the first been spokenG2980 through the LordG2962, was confirmedG950 unto us by them that heardG191; 4GodG2316 alsoG2532 bearing witness with them, both by signsG4592 and wondersG5059, and by manifold powersG1411, and by gifts of the HolyG40 SpiritG4151, accordingG2596 to his own will.
5For not unto angelsG32 did he subjectG5293 the worldG3625 to comeG3195, whereof we speakG2980. 6But oneG5100 hath somewhereG4225 testifiedG1263, sayingG3004,
For in that he subjectedG5293 all thingsG3956 unto him, he leftG863 nothing that is not subjectG5293 to him. But nowG1161 we seeG3708 not yet all thingsG3956 subjectedG5293 to him. 9But we behold him who hath been made a littleG1024 lower than the angelsG32, evenG2532 JesusG2424, because of the suffering of deathG2288 crownedG4737 with gloryG1391 and honorG5092, that by the graceG5485 of GodG2316 he should tasteG1089 of deathG2288 for every man.
