Galatians 4:1-9
1But I sayG3004 that so long as the heirG2818 isG1510 a childG3516, he differeth nothing from a bondservant though he isG1510 lordG2962 of all; 2but isG1510 under guardians and stewardsG3623 until the day appointed of the fatherG3962. 3So we alsoG2532, whenG3753 we wereG1510 childrenG3516, wereG1510 held in bondageG1402 under the rudiments of the worldG2889: 4but whenG3753 the fulness of the timeG5550 cameG2064, GodG2316 sent forthG1821 his SonG5207, born of a womanG1135, born under the lawG3551, 5that he might redeemG1805 them that were under the lawG3551, that we might receiveG618 the adoptionG5206 of sonsG5206. 6And because ye areG1510 sonsG5207, GodG2316 sent forthG1821 the SpiritG4151 of his SonG5207 into our heartsG2588, cryingG2896, AbbaG5, FatherG3962. 7So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a sonG5207; and if a sonG5207, then an heirG2818 through GodG2316.
8Howbeit at that timeG5119, not knowing GodG2316, ye wereG1510 in bondage to them that by natureG5449 areG1510 no godsG2316: 9but nowG1161 that ye have comeG1097 to knowG1097 GodG2316, or ratherG3123 to be knownG1097 by GodG2316, howG4459 turnG1994 ye back againG3825 to the weakG772 and beggarly rudiments, whereunto ye desireG2309 to be in bondage over againG3825?
