The Last Plague
1Now the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “OneH259 moreH5750 plagueH5061 I will bringH935 on PharaohH6547 and on EgyptH4714; 1afterH310 that he will letH7971 you goH7971 from hereH2088. When he letsH7971 you goH7971, he will assuredlyH1644 driveH1644 you outH1644 from hereH2088 completelyH3605. 2SpeakH1696 nowH4994 2so that the peopleH5971 hearH241, that 3eachH376 manH376 is to askH7592 of his neighborH7453, and eachH802 womanH802 of her neighborH7468, articlesH3627 of silverH3701 and articlesH3627 of goldH2091.” 3And 4the LordH3068 gaveH5414 the peopleH5971 favorH2580 in the sightH5869 of the EgyptiansH4714. 5FurthermoreH1571, the manH376 MosesH4872 himself was 6greatlyH3966 esteemed in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, both in the sightH5869 of Pharaoh’sH6547 servantsH5650 and in the sightH5869 of the peopleH5971.
4Then MosesH4872 saidH559, “ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559: ‘About 7midnightH2676H3915 I am goingH3318 outH3318 into the midstH8432 of EgyptH4714, 5and 8allH3605 the firstbornH1060 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714 shall dieH4191, from the firstbornH1060 of the PharaohH6547 who sitsH3427 on his throneH3678, to the firstbornH1060 of the slaveH8198 girlH8198 whoH834 is behindH310 the millstonesH7347; allH3605 the firstbornH1060 of the cattleH929 as well. 6So there shall be 9a greatH1419 cryH6818 in allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714, suchH834 as there has not beenH1961 before and suchH3644 as shall neverH3808 be againH3254. 710But not even a dogH3611 will 11threatenH2782H3956 anyH3605 of the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, nor anything from personH376 to animalH929, soH4616 thatH4616 you may 12learnH3045 howH834 the LordH3068 distinguishesH6395 betweenH996 EgyptH4714 and IsraelH3478.’ 8And 13allH3605 theseH428 servantsH5650 of yours will comeH3381 downH3381 to me and bowH2331 themselves 14before me, sayingH559, ‘GoH3318 outH3318, you and allH3605 the peopleH5971 whoH834 15followH7272 you,’ and afterH310 that I will goH3318 outH3318.” 16And he leftH3318H4480 PharaohH6547 in the heatH2750 of angerH639.
9Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “17PharaohH6547 will not listenH8085 to you, soH4616 18that My wondersH4159 will be multipliedH7235 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714.” 10So 19MosesH4872 and AaronH175 performedH6213 allH3605 theseH428 wondersH4159 beforeH6440 PharaohH6547; yet 20the LordH3068 21hardenedH2388 Pharaoh’sH6547 heartH3820, and he did not letH7971 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 goH7971 outH7971 of his landH776.
