Jeremiah 9

OhH4310that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of mypeopleH5971!
Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodgingplaceקַשְׁתָּ֣םkash.TamH7198of wayfaring men; that I mightleaveH3318mypeopleH3808, andgoH3318from them! for they beallיָדָ֖עוּya.Da.'uH3045adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
And they bend their tongue as it were their bow for falsehood; and they are grown strong in the land, butnotH408for truth: for theyproceedיַהֲלֹֽךְ׃ya.ha.LokhH1980from evil to evil, and they knownotH408meוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921, saith the LORD.
Take ye heedeveryH376one of his neighbour, and trust yenotלֹ֣אlo'H3808inanyH376brother: foreveryH376brother will utterly supplant, andeveryH376neighbour will goaboutH1696with slanders.
And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and willnotH3045speak the truth: they havetaughtH3045their tongue to speakliesH4820; they weary themselves to commit iniquity.
Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit;throughלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651deceit they refuse to knowmeמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440, saith theLORDH3068.
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; forhowשָׁל֤וֹםsha.LomH7965elseרֵעֵ֙הוּ֙re.'E.huH7453should I do, because of the daughter of mypeopleH1696?
Their tongue is adeadlyH5315arrow; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with hismouthH5315, but in hisheartH5315he layeth wait for him.
Shall Inotלֹֽא־lo'-H3808visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shallnotלֹ֥אlo'H3808my soul be avenged onsuchוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808a nation as this?
For the mountains will ItakeH5414upH5414a weeping and wailing, and for the pastures of the wilderness a lamentation,becauseH1097they are burnedupH5414,soH5414that none passeth through; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled, they are gone.
And I willmakeH5046Jerusalem heaps, a dwellingplaceהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776of jackals; and I willmakeH5046the cities of Judah a desolation,withoutH1097inhabitant.

And the LORD saith,BecauseH834they have forsaken my lawwhichH834IsetH834before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
but have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart, and after the Baalim,whichמֵי־mei-H4325their fathers taught them:
