6Fleeנֻ֖סוּNu.suH5127,saveמַלְּט֣וּma.le.TuH4422yourlivesנַפְשְׁכֶ֑םnaf.she.KhemH5315, and be like the heath in thewildernessבַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ba.mid.BarH4057.

7For,becauseכִּ֠יkiH3588thou hasttrustedבִּטְחֵ֤ךְbit.ChekhH982in thyworksבְּמַעֲשַׂ֙יִךְ֙be.ma.'a.Sa.yikhH4639and in thytreasuresוּבְא֣וֹצְרוֹתַ֔יִךְu.ve.'otz.ro.Ta.yikhH214, thou also shalt betakenתִּלָּכֵ֑דִיti.la.Khe.diH3920: andChemoshכְמוֹשׁ֙khe.mishH3645shallgoוְיָצָ֤אve.ya.Tza'H3318forthH3318intoH3318captivity, hispriestsכֹּהֲנָ֥יוko.ha.NavH3548and hisprincesוְשָׂרָ֖יוve.sa.RavH8269togetherיַחְדָּֽיו׃ya.chadH3162.

8And the spoiler shallcomeוְיָבֹ֨אve.ya.Vo'H935uponH935everyכָּל־kol-H3605cityעִ֗יר'IrH5892, andnoלֹ֣אlo'H3808cityוְעִיר֙ve.'IrH5892shallescapeתִמָּלֵ֔טti.ma.LetH4422; thevalleyהָעֵ֖מֶקha.'E.mekH6010also shallperishוְאָבַ֥דve.'a.VadH6, and theplainהַמִּישֹׁ֑רha.mi.ShorH4334shall bedestroyedוְנִשְׁמַ֣דve.nish.MadH8045; as theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068hathspokenאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559.

9Giveתְּנוּ־te.nu-H5414wings untoMoabלְמוֹאָ֔בle.mo.'AvH4124, thatsheכִּ֥יkiH3588may fly andgetH3318herH5414awayH3318: andherH5414citiesוְעָרֶ֙יהָ֙ve.'a.Rei.haH5892shallbecomeתִֽהְיֶ֔ינָהtih.Yei.nahH1961adesolationלְשַׁמָּ֣הle.sha.MahH8047,withoutH369anyH369todwellיוֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427therein.

10Cursedאָר֗וּר'a.RurH779be he that doeth theworkמְלֶ֥אכֶתme.Le.khetH4399of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068negligently, andcursedוְאָר֕וּרve.'a.RurH779be he that keepethbackמֹנֵ֥עַmo.Ne.a'H4513hisswordחַרְבּ֖וֹchar.BoH2719frombloodמִדָּֽם׃mi.DamH1818.

11Moabמוֹאָ֜בmo.'AvH4124hath been ateaseשַׁאֲנַ֨ןsha.'a.NanH7599from hisyouthמִנְּעוּרָ֗יוmi.ne.'u.RavH5271, and he hath settled on his lees, and hathnotוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808been emptied fromvesselמִכְּלִי֙mi.ke.LiH3627tovesselכֶּ֔לִיKe.liH3627,neitherלֹ֣אlo'H3808hath hegoneהָלָ֑ךְha.LakhH1980intoH413captivity: therefore histasteטַעְמוֹ֙ta'.MoH2940remaineth in him, and his scent isnotלֹ֥אlo'H3808changedנָמָֽר׃ סna.MarH4171.

12Therefore,beholdהִנֵּ֖ה־hi.Neh-H2009, thedaysיָמִ֤יםya.MimH3117comeבָּאִים֙ba.'ImH935, saith theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, that I willsendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־ve.shi.lach.ti-H7971unto him them that pouroffH7971, and they shall pour himoffH7971; and they shall empty hisvesselsוְכֵלָ֣יוve.khe.LavH3627, and break their bottles in pieces.

13AndMoabמוֹאָ֖בmo.'AvH4124shall beashamedוּבֹ֥שׁu.VoshH954ofChemoshמִכְּמ֑וֹשׁmi.ke.Mo.oshH3645, as thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478wasashamedבֹּ֙שׁוּ֙bo.shuH954of Beth-el theirconfidenceמִבְטֶחָֽם׃miv.te.ChamH4009.

14Howאֵ֚יךְ'eikhH349sayתֹּֽאמְר֔וּto.me.RuH559ye,Weאֲנָ֑חְנוּ'a.Na.che.nuH587aremightyגִּבּוֹרִ֖יםgi.bo.RimH1368menH376, andvaliantחַ֖יִלCha.yilH2428menH376for thewarלַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃la.mil.cha.MahH4421?

15Moabמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124is laidwasteשֻׁדַּ֤דshu.DadH7703, and they aregoneעָלָ֔ה'a.LahH5927upH5927intoH3381herH3381citiesוְעָרֶ֣יהָve.'a.Rei.haH5892; and his chosenyoungבַּֽחוּרָ֖יוba.chu.RavH970menH970aregoneH5927downיָרְד֣וּya.re.DuH3381to theslaughterלַטָּ֑בַחla.Ta.vachH2874, saith theKingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,whoseH8034nameשְׁמֽוֹ׃she.MoH8034is theLORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068ofhostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635.

16Thecalamityאֵיד־'eid-H343ofMoabמוֹאָ֖בmo.'AvH4124isnearקָר֥וֹבka.RovH7138tocomeלָב֑וֹאla.Vo'H935, and his affliction hasteth fast.

17Allכָּל־kol-H3605ye that areroundH5439aboutH5439him, bemoan him, andallוְכֹ֖לve.KholH3605ye thatknowיֹדְעֵ֣יyo.de.'EiH3045hisnameשְׁמ֑וֹshe.MoH8034;sayאִמְר֗וּ'im.RuH559,Howאֵיכָ֤ה'ei.KhahH349is thestrongעֹ֔ז'OzH5797staffמַטֵּה־ma.teh-H4294brokenנִשְׁבַּר֙nish.BarH7665, thebeautifulתִּפְאָרָֽה׃tif.'a.RahH8597rodH4294!

18O thoudaughterבַּת־bat-H1323that dwellest inDibonדִּיב֑וֹןdi.VonH1769,comeעָ֣לָה'A.lahH5927downרְדִ֤יre.DiH3381from thygloryמִכָּבוֹד֙mi.ka.VodH3519, andsitH3427inthirstבַצָּמָ֔אva.tza.Ma'H6772; for the spoiler ofMoabמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124iscomeH5927upH5927againstH5927thee, he hathdestroyedשִׁחֵ֖תshi.ChetH7843thy strong holds.
