11And thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall bemovedH3318with choler, and shallcomeH3318forthH3318andfightוְנִלְחַ֥םve.nil.ChamH3898with him, even with thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֑וֹןha.tza.FonH6828: and he shallsetH5414forthH3318agreatרָ֔בRavH7227multitudeהָמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995, and themultitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995shall begivenH5414intoH3027hishandבְּיָדֽוֹ׃be.ya.DoH3027.

12And themultitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995shall beliftedH5375upH5375, and hisheartלְבָב֑וֹle.va.VoH3824shall beexaltedוְרָ֣םve.RumH7311: and he shallcastH5307downH5307tensH7239ofthousandsרִבֹּא֖וֹתri.bo.'otH7239, but he shallnotוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808prevailיָעֽוֹז׃ya.'ozH5810.

13And thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shallreturnוְשָׁב֙ve.ShavH7725, and shallsetוְהֶעֱמִ֣ידve.he.'e.MidH5975forth amultitudeהָמ֔וֹןha.MonH1995greaterH1419thanמִן־min-H4480theformerהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223; and he shallcomeH935on at theendוּלְקֵ֨ץu.le.KetzH7093of thetimesהָֽעִתִּ֤יםha.'i.TimH6256, even ofyearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141, with agreatH1419armyבְּחַ֥יִלbe.Cha.yilH2428and withmuchH7227substanceH2428.

15SoH3808thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shallcomeוְיָבֹא֙ve.ya.Vo'H935, andcastוְיִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ve.yish.poKhH8210upH5975a mount, andtakeוְלָכַ֖דve.la.KhadH3920a well fencedcityעִ֣יר'irH5892: and thearmsH2220of thesouthהַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ha.Ne.gevH5045shallnotH3808withstandH5975,neitherH3808his chosenpeopleוְעַם֙ve.'AmH5971,neitherH3808shall there beanyוְאֵ֥יןve.'EinH369strengthH2220towithstandH5975.

16But he that comethagainstH413him shalldoוְיַ֨עַשׂve.Ya.'asH6213accordingH413to hisownH6440will, andnoneוְאֵ֥יןve.'EinH369shallstandעוֹמֵ֖דo.MedH5975beforeH6440him: and he shallstandוְיַעֲמֹ֥דve.ya.'a.ModH5975in the gloriouslandבְּאֶֽרֶץ־be.'e.retz-H776, and in hishandבְיָדֽוֹ׃ve.ya.DoH3027shall bedestructionH3615.

17And he shallsetוְיָשֵׂ֣ם׀ve.ya.SemH7760hisfaceפָּ֠נָיוPa.navH6440tocomeלָב֞וֹאla.Vo'H935with the strength of hiswholeH3605kingdomמַלְכוּת֛וֹmal.khu.ToH4438, anduprightוִישָׁרִ֥יםvi.sha.RimH3477onesH5975with him; and he shalldoוְעָשָׂ֑הve.'a.SahH6213his pleasure: and he shallgiveיִתֶּן־yi.ten-H5414him thedaughterוּבַ֤תu.VatH1323ofwomenהַנָּשִׁים֙ha.na.ShimH802, tocorruptלְהַשְׁחִיתָ֔הּle.hash.chi.TahH7843herH3605; butsheH3808shallnotH3808standתַעֲמֹ֖דta.'a.ModH5975,neitherH3808be for him.

18After this shall heturnיָשִׁ֥יבya.ShivH7725hisfaceפָּנָ֛יוpa.NavH6440unto theislesלְאִיִּ֖יםle.'i.YimH339, and shalltakeH7725manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227: but a prince shallcauseH7725thereproachחֶרְפָּתוֹ֙cher.pa.ToH2781offered by him toceaseוְהִשְׁבִּ֨יתve.hish.BitH7673; yea,moreoverבִּלְתִּ֥יbil.TiH1115, he shallcauseH7725hisreproachחֶרְפָּת֖וֹcher.pa.ToH2781toturnH7725upon him.

19Then he shallturnוְיָשֵׁ֣בve.ya.ShevH7725hisfaceפָּנָ֔יוpa.NavH6440towardH6440thefortressesלְמָעוּזֵּ֖יle.ma.'u.ZeiH4581of hisownH6440landאַרְצ֑וֹ'ar.TzoH776: but he shallstumbleוְנִכְשַׁ֥לve.nikh.ShalH3782andfallוְנָפַ֖לve.na.FalH5307, and shallnotוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808befoundיִמָּצֵֽא׃yi.ma.Tze'H4672.

20Then shallstandH5975upH5975in hisplaceH5975one that shall cause an exactor topassH5674throughH5674the glory of thekingdomמַלְכ֑וּתmal.KhutH4438: butwithinעַל־'al-H5921fewאֲחָדִים֙'a.cha.DimH259daysוּבְיָמִ֤יםuv.ya.MimH3117he shall be destroyed,neitherוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808inangerבְאַפַּ֖יִםve.'a.Pa.yimH639,norוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808inbattleבְמִלְחָמָֽה׃ve.mil.cha.MahH4421.

21And in hisplaceH5414shallstandH5975upH5975a contemptiblepersonH935, to whom they hadnotוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808givenH5414the honour of thekingdomמַלְכ֑וּתmal.KhutH4438: but he shallcomeוּבָ֣אu.Va'H935in time of security, and shall obtain thekingdomמַלְכ֖וּתmal.KhutH4438by flatteries.

22And with thearmsוּזְרֹע֥וֹתu.ze.ro.'otH2220of afloodהַשֶּׁ֛טֶףha.She.tefH7858shall they be sweptawayיִשָּׁטְפ֥וּyi.sha.te.FuH7857frombeforeמִלְּפָנָ֖יוmi.le.fa.NavH6440him, and shall bebrokenוְיִשָּׁבֵ֑רוּve.yi.sha.Ve.ruH7665; yea, also theprinceנְגִ֥ידne.GidH5057of thecovenantבְּרִֽית׃be.RitH1285.

23Andafterוּמִן־u.min-H4480the leaguemadeיַעֲשֶׂ֣הya.'a.SehH6213with him he shall workdeceitfullyמִרְמָ֑הmir.MahH4820: for he shallcomeH5927upH5927, and shall becomestrongוְעָצַ֖םve.'a.TzamH6105, with asmallבִּמְעַט־bim.'at-H4592peopleגּֽוֹי׃GoyH1471.

24In time of security shall hecomeיָבוֹא֒ya.Vo'H935evenH5704uponH5921the fattest places of theprovinceמְדִינָה֮me.di.NahH4082; and he shalldoוְעָשָׂ֗הve.'a.SahH6213thatwhichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834hisfathersאֲבֹתָיו֙'a.vo.TavH1havenotH3808doneעָשׂ֤וּ'a.SuH6213,norH3808hisfathers’וַאֲב֣וֹתva.'a.VotH1fathersאֲבֹתָ֔יו'a.vo.TavH1; he shall scatter among them prey, andspoilוְשָׁלָ֛לve.sha.LalH7998, and substance: yea, he shalldeviseיְחַשֵּׁ֥בye.cha.ShevH2803his devicesagainstH5921the strong holds,evenH5704for a time.

26Yea, they thateatוְאֹכְלֵ֧יve.'o.khe.LeiH398of his meat shalldestroyיִשְׁבְּר֖וּהוּyish.be.Ru.huH7665him, and hisarmyוְחֵיל֣וֹve.chei.LoH2428shalloverflowיִשְׁט֑וֹףyish.TofH7857: andmanyרַבִּֽים׃ra.BimH7227shallfallוְנָפְל֖וּve.na.fe.LuH5307downH5307slainחֲלָלִ֥יםcha.la.LimH2491.

27And as forbothוּשְׁנֵיהֶ֤םu.she.nei.HemH8147theseH1696kingsהַמְּלָכִים֙ha.me.la.KhimH4428, theirheartsלְבָבָ֣םle.va.VamH3824shall be to do mischief, and they shallspeakיְדַבֵּ֑רוּye.da.Be.ruH1696liesכָּזָ֣בka.ZavH3577at onetableשֻׁלְחָ֥ןshul.ChanH7979: but it shallnotוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808prosperתִצְלָ֔חtitz.LachH6743; for yet theendקֵ֖ץketzH7093shall be at the timeappointedלַמּוֹעֵֽד׃la.mo.'EdH4150.

28Then shall hereturnוְיָשֹׁ֤בve.ya.ShoH7725intoH5921hislandאַרְצוֹ֙'ar.TzoH776withgreatגָּד֔וֹלga.DolH1419substance; and hisheartוּלְבָב֖וֹu.le.va.VoH3824shall beagainstH5921theholyקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285; and he shalldoוְעָשָׂ֖הve.'a.SahH6213his pleasure, andreturnוְשָׁ֥בve.ShavH7725to his ownlandלְאַרְצֽוֹ׃le.'ar.TzoH776.

29At the timeappointedלַמּוֹעֵ֥דla.mo.'EdH4150he shallreturnיָשׁ֖וּבya.ShuvH7725, andcomeוּבָ֣אu.Va'H935intoH935thesouthבַנֶּ֑גֶבva.Ne.gevH5045; but it shallnotוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808be in thelatterוְכָאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃ve.kha.'a.cha.ro.NahH314time as it was in theformerכָרִאשֹׁנָ֖הkha.ri.sho.NahH7223.

31Andarmsוּזְרֹעִ֖יםu.ze.ro.'ImH2220shallstandH5975on hispartמִמֶּ֣נּוּmi.Me.nuH4480, and they shallprofaneוְחִלְּל֞וּve.chi.le.LuH2490thesanctuaryהַמִּקְדָּ֤שׁha.mik.DashH4720, even thefortressהַמָּעוֹז֙ha.ma.'OzH4581, and shalltakeH5493awayH5493thecontinualהַתָּמִ֔ידha.ta.MidH8548burnt offering; and they shallsetוְנָתְנ֖וּve.na.te.NuH5414upH5975theabominationהַשִּׁקּ֥וּץha.shi.KutzH8251that makethdesolateמְשׁוֹמֵֽם׃me.sho.MemH8074.

32And such asdoH6213wickedlyוּמַרְשִׁיעֵ֣יu.mar.shi.'EiH7561against thecovenantבְרִ֔יתve.RitH1285shall he pervert by flatteries: but thepeopleוְעַ֛םve.'AmH5971thatknowיֹדְעֵ֥יyo.de.'EiH3045theirGodאֱלֹהָ֖יו'e.lo.HavH430shall bestrongיַחֲזִ֥קוּya.cha.Zi.kuH2388, anddoH6213exploits.

33And they that bewiseוּמַשְׂכִּ֣ילֵיu.mas.Ki.leiH7919among thepeopleעָ֔ם'AmH5971shallinstructH5971manyלָֽרַבִּ֑יםla.ra.BimH7227: yet they shallfallוְנִכְשְׁל֞וּve.nikh.she.LuH3782by theswordבְּחֶ֧רֶבbe.Che.revH2719and byflameוּבְלֶהָבָ֛הuv.le.ha.VaH3852, bycaptivityבִּשְׁבִ֥יbish.ViH7628and byspoilוּבְבִזָּ֖הuv.vi.ZahH961,manyH7227daysיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117.

34NowH7227when they shallfallוּבְהִכָּ֣שְׁלָ֔םuv.hi.Ka.she.LamH3782, they shall be holpen with alittleמְעָ֑טme.'AtH4592helpיֵעָזְר֖וּye.'a.ze.RuH5826: butmanyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227shalljoinוְנִלְו֧וּve.nil.VuH3867themselvesעֲלֵיהֶ֛ם'a.lei.HemH5921unto them with flatteries.

35Andsomeוּמִן־u.min-H4480of them that bewiseהַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֣יםha.mas.ki.LimH7919shallfallיִכָּֽשְׁל֗וּyi.ka.she.LuH3782, torefineלִצְר֥וֹףlitz.RofH6884them, and topurifyוּלְבָרֵ֥רu.le.va.RerH1305, and tomakeH3588themwhiteוְלַלְבֵּ֖ןve.lal.BenH3835,evenעַד־'ad-H5704to the time of theendקֵ֑ץKetzH7093:becauseH3588it is yet for the timeappointedלַמּוֹעֵֽד׃la.mo.'EdH4150.
