4Thefirstקַדְמָיְתָ֣אkad.ma.ye.Ta'H6933was like alionכְאַרְיֵ֔הkhe.'ar.YehH744, and had eagle’swingsוְגַפִּ֥יןve.ga.PinH1611: I beheld till thewingsגַפַּ֜יהּga.PaihH1611thereof werepluckedמְּרִ֨יטוּme.Ri.tuH4804, and it wasliftedוּנְטִ֣ילַתu.ne.Ti.latH5191up from theearthאַרְעָ֗א'ar.'A'H772, andmadeH6966tostandH6966upon twofeetרַגְלַ֙יִן֙rag.La.yinH7271as amanכֶּאֱנָ֣שׁke.'e.NashH606, and aman’sאֱנָ֖שׁ'e.NashH606heartוּלְבַ֥בu.le.VavH3825wasgivenיְהִ֥יבye.HivH3052to it.

8I considered thehornsבְּקַרְנַיָּ֗אbe.kar.nai.Ya'H7162, and,beholdוַ֠אֲלוּVa.'a.luH431, there cameupH6925among themanotherאָחֳרִ֤י'o.cho.RiH317hornקֶ֣רֶןKe.renH7162, alittleזְעֵירָה֙ze.'ei.RahH2192one,beforeH6925whichthreeוּתְלָ֗תu.te.LatH8532of thefirstקַדְמָ֣יָתָ֔אkad.Ma.ya.Ta'H6933hornsקַרְנַיָּא֙kar.nai.Ya'H7162were pluckedupH6925by therootsאֶתְעֲקַ֖רָה'et.'a.ka.ruH6132: and,beholdוַאֲל֨וּva.'a.LuH431, in thishornבְּקַרְנָא־be.kar.na-'H7162wereeyesעַיְנִ֜ין'ay.NinH5870like theeyesכְּעַיְנֵ֤יke.'ay.NeiH5870of amanאֲנָשָׁא֙'a.na.Sha'H606, and amouthוּפֻ֖םu.FumH6433speakingמְמַלִּ֥לme.ma.LilH4449greatרַבְרְבָֽן׃rav.re.VanH7260things.

9I beheld tillthronesכָרְסָוָן֙kha.re.sa.VanH3764were placed, and one that wasancientוְעַתִּ֥יקve.'a.TikH6268ofdaysיוֹמִ֖יןyo.MinH3118didsitיְתִ֑בye.TivH3488: his raiment waswhiteחִוָּ֗רchi.VarH2358assnowכִּתְלַ֣גkit.LagH8517, and thehairוּשְׂעַ֤רu.se.'ArH8177of hisheadרֵאשֵׁהּ֙re.ShehH7217likepureנְקֵ֔אne.Ke'H5343woolכַּעֲמַ֣רka.'a.MarH6015; histhroneכָּרְסְיֵהּ֙ka.re.se.YehH3764was fieryflamesשְׁבִיבִ֣יןshe.vi.VinH7631, and thewheelsגַּלְגִּלּ֖וֹהִיgal.gi.Lo.hiH1535thereofburningדָּלִֽק׃da.LikH1815fireH5135.

10A fiery stream issued andcameH5312forthH5312frombeforeקֳדָמ֔וֹהִיko.da.Mo.hiH6925him:thousandH506thousandsH506ministered unto him, and tenthousandH506times tenthousandH506stoodיְקוּמ֑וּןye.ku.MunH6966beforeקָֽדָמ֣וֹהִיka.da.Mo.hiH6925him: thejudgmentדִּינָ֥אdi.Na'H1780wassetH6966, and thebooksוְסִפְרִ֥יןve.sif.RinH5609wereopenedפְּתִֽיחוּ׃pe.Ti.chuH6606.

11I beheld at that timebecauseמִן־min-H4481of thevoiceקָל֙kalH7032of thegreatרַבְרְבָתָ֔אrav.re.va.Ta'H7260wordsמִלַּיָּ֣אmi.lai.Ya'H4406whichדִּ֥יdiH1768thehornקַרְנָ֖אkar.Na'H7162spake; I beheldevenדִּ֨יdiH1768till thebeastחֵֽיוְתָא֙chei.ve.Ta'H2423wasslainקְטִילַ֤תke.ti.LatH6992, and hisbodyגִּשְׁמַ֔הּgish.MahH1655destroyedוְהוּבַ֣דve.hu.VadH7, and he wasgivenוִיהִיבַ֖תvi.hi.VatH3052to be burned withfireאֶשָּֽׁא׃'e.Sha'H785.

12And as for therestוּשְׁאָר֙u.she.'ArH7606of thebeastsחֵֽיוָתָ֔אchei.va.Ta'H2423, theirdominionשָׁלְטָנְה֑וֹןshal.ta.ne.HonH7985wastakenH5709awayH5709: yet theirlivesבְחַיִּ֛יןve.chai.YinH2417wereprolongedוְאַרְכָ֧הve.'ar.KhahH754for a season and a time.

13Isawחָזֵ֤הcha.ZehH2370in thenightלֵֽילְיָ֔אleil.Ya'H3916visionsבְּחֶזְוֵ֣יbe.chez.VeiH2376, and,beholdוַאֲרוּ֙va.'a.RuH718, therecameH858with thecloudsעֲנָנֵ֣י'a.na.NeiH6050ofheavenשְׁמַיָּ֔אshe.mai.Ya'H8065one like unto asonכְּבַ֥רke.VarH1247ofmanאֱנָ֖שׁ'e.NashH606, and hecameH858even to theancientעַתִּ֤יק'a.TikH6268ofdaysיֽוֹמַיָּא֙yo.mai.Ya'H3118, and theybroughtH858himnearהַקְרְבֽוּהִי׃hak.re.Vu.hiH7127beforeוּקְדָמ֖וֹהִיu.ke.da.Mo.hiH6925him.

14And there wasgivenיְהִ֤יבye.HivH3052himdominionשָׁלְטָן֙shal.TanH7985, andgloryוִיקָ֣רvi.KarH3367, and akingdomוּמַלְכ֔וּu.mal.KhuH4437, thatallוְכֹ֣לve.KholH3606thepeoplesעַֽמְמַיָּ֗א'a.mai.Ya'H5972,nationsאֻמַיָּ֛א'u.mai.Ya'H524, and languages shouldserveיִפְלְח֑וּןyif.le.ChunH6399him: hisdominionשָׁלְטָנֵ֞הּshal.ta.NehH7985is aneverlastingעָלַם֙'a.LamH5957dominionשָׁלְטָ֤ןshal.TanH7985,whichדִּֽי־di-H1768shallnotלָ֣אla'H3809passיֶעְדֵּ֔הye'.DehH5709awayH5709, and hiskingdomוּמַלְכוּתֵ֖הּu.mal.khu.TehH4437thatwhichדִּי־di-H1768shallnotלָ֥אla'H3809bedestroyedתִתְחַבַּֽל׃ פtit.cha.BalH2255.

15As for meDanielדָנִיֵּ֖אלda.ni.YelH1841, myspiritרוּחִ֛יru.ChiH7308was grieved in themidstבְּג֣וֹאbe.Go'H1459of my body, and thevisionsוְחֶזְוֵ֥יve.chez.VeiH2376of myheadרֵאשִׁ֖יre.ShiH7217troubledיְבַהֲלֻנַּֽנִי׃ye.va.ha.lu.Na.niH927me.

16IcameH7127nearH7127unto one of them thatstoodקָ֣אֲמַיָּ֔אka.'a.mai.Ya'H6966by, andaskedH560him the truth concerningallכָּל־kol-H3606this.SoH4481hetoldH560me, andmadeH3046meknowH3046theinterpretationוּפְשַׁ֥רu.fe.SharH6591of the things.

18But thesaintsקַדִּישֵׁ֖יka.di.SheiH6922of the Most High shallreceiveוִֽיקַבְּלוּן֙vi.ka.be.LunH6902thekingdomמַלְכוּתָ֔אmal.khu.Ta'H4437, andpossessוְיַחְסְנ֤וּןve.yach.se.NunH2631thekingdomמַלְכוּתָא֙mal.khu.Ta'H4437foreverעָ֣לְמָ֔א'al.Ma'H5957, even foreverעָלַ֥ם'a.LamH5957andeverעָלְמַיָּֽא׃'al.mai.Ya'H5957.

19Then Idesiredצְבִית֙tze.VitH6634toknowלְיַצָּבָ֔אle.ya.tza.Va'H3321the truth concerning thefourthרְבִיעָ֣יְתָ֔אre.vi.'A.ye.Ta'H7244beastחֵֽיוְתָא֙chei.ve.Ta'H2423,whichדִּֽי־di-H1768was diverse fromallH3605of them, exceeding terrible,whoseדִּֽי־di-H1768teethשִׁנַּ֤הּshi.nai.yahH8128were ofironפַרְזֶל֙far.ZelH6523, and hisnailsוְטִפְרַ֣יהּve.tif.RaihH2953of brass;whichדִּֽי־di-H1768devouredאָֽכְלָ֣ה'a.khe.LahH399, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with hisfeetבְּרַגְלַ֥יהּbe.rag.LaihH7271;

20and concerning thetenעֲשַׂר֙'a.SarH6236hornsקַרְנַיָּ֤אkar.nai.Ya'H7162that were on hisheadבְרֵאשַׁ֔הּve.re.ShahH7217, and the otherhornוְקַרְנָ֨אve.kar.Na'H7162whichH1768cameH5308upH6925, andbeforeH6925whichH1768threeתְּלָ֑תte.LatH8532fellH5308;evenH1768thathornH7162that hadeyesוְעַיְנִ֣יןve.'ay.NinH5870, and amouthוְפֻם֙ve.FumH6433that spakegreatרַ֥בravH7229things,whoseH1768look wasmoreמִן־min-H4481stoutthanמִן־min-H4481his fellows.

21I beheld, and the samehornוְקַרְנָ֣אve.kar.Na'H7162madeעָבְדָ֥ה'a.ve.DahH5648warקְרָ֖בke.RavH7129with thesaintsקַדִּישִׁ֑יןka.di.ShinH6922, and prevailedagainstעִם־'im-H5974them;

22untilעַ֣ד'adH5705theancientעַתִּיק֙'a.TikH6268ofdaysיֽוֹמַיָּ֔אyo.mai.Ya'H3118cameH858, andjudgmentוְדִינָ֣אve.di.Na'H1780wasgivenיְהִ֔בye.HivH3052to thesaintsלְקַדִּישֵׁ֖יle.ka.di.SheiH6922of the Most High; and the timecameH858that thesaintsקַדִּישִֽׁין׃ka.di.ShinH6922possessed thekingdomוּמַלְכוּתָ֖אu.mal.khu.Ta'H4437.

23Thusכֵּן֮kenH3652hesaidאֲמַר֒'a.MarH560, Thefourthרְבִיעָ֣יְתָ֔אre.vi.'A.ye.Ta'H7244beastחֵֽיוְתָא֙chei.ve.Ta'H2423shall be afourthרְבִיעָאָה֙re.vi.'a.ya'H7244kingdomמַלְכ֤וּmal.KhuH4437uponearthבְאַרְעָ֔אve.'ar.'A'H772,whichדִּ֥יdiH1768shall be diverse fromallכָּל־kol-H3606thekingdomsמַלְכְוָתָ֑אmal.khe.va.Ta'H4437, and shalldevourוְתֵאכֻל֙ve.te.KhulH399thewholeכָּל־kol-H3606earthאַרְעָ֔א'ar.'A'H772, and shalltreadH1759itdownH1759, and break it in pieces.

24And as for thetenעֲשַׂ֔ר'a.SarH6236hornsוְקַרְנַיָּ֣אve.kar.nai.Ya'H7162, out of thiskingdomמַלְכוּתָ֔הmal.khu.Tah'H4437shalltenעַשְׂרָ֥ה'as.RahH6236kingsמַלְכִ֖יןmal.KhinH4430ariseיְקֻמ֑וּןye.ku.MunH6966: andanotherוְאָחֳרָ֞ןve.'o.cho.RanH321shallariseיְק֣וּםye.KumH6966afterאַחֲרֵיה֗וֹן'a.cha.rei.HonH311them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put downthreeוּתְלָתָ֥הu.te.la.TahH8532kingsמַלְכִ֖יןmal.KhinH4430.

26But thejudgmentוְדִינָ֖אve.di.Na'H1780shallsitיִתִּ֑בyi.TivH3488, and they shall takeawayיְהַעְדּ֔וֹןye.ha'.DonH5709hisdominionוְשָׁלְטָנֵ֣הּve.shal.ta.NehH7985, to consume and todestroyוּלְהוֹבָדָ֖הu.le.hoa.DahH7it unto theendסוֹפָֽא׃so.Fa'H5491.
