16Because that he rememberedזָכַר֮za.KharH2142not to shewעֲשׂ֪וֹתa.SotH6213mercyחָ֥סֶדCha.sedH2617,but persecutedוַיִּרְדֹּ֡ףvai.yir.DofH7291the poorעָנִ֣י'a.NiH6041and needyוְ֭אֶבְיוֹןVe.'ev.yonH34manאִישׁ־'ish-H376,that he might even slayלְמוֹתֵֽת׃le.mo.TetH4191the brokenוְנִכְאֵ֨הve.nikh.'EhH3512in heartלֵבָ֬בle.VavH3824.

18As he clothedוַיִּלְבַּ֥שׁvai.yil.BashH3847himself with cursingקְלָלָ֗הke.la.LahH7045like as with his garmentכְּמַ֫דּ֥וֹke.Ma.DoH4055,so let it comeוַתָּבֹ֣אva.ta.Vo'H935into his bowelsבְּקִרְבּ֑וֹbe.kir.BoH7130like waterכַמַּ֣יִםkha.Ma.yimH4325,and like oilוְ֝כַשֶּׁ֗מֶןve.kha.She.menH8081into his bonesבְּעַצְמוֹתָֽיו׃be.'atz.mo.TavH6106.

19Let it be unto him as the garmentכְּבֶ֣גֶדke.Ve.gedH899whichcoverethיַעְטֶ֑הya'.TehH5844him, and for a girdleוּ֝לְמֵ֗זַחu.le.Me.zachH4206wherewith he is girdedיַחְגְּרֶֽהָ׃yach.ge.Re.haH2296continuallyתָּמִ֥ידta.MidH8548.
