2Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,thou dwellestיֹשֵׁ֑בyo.ShevH3427in the midstבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of a rebelliousהַמֶּ֖רִיha.Me.riH4805houseבֵּית־beit-H1004,which have eyesעֵינַיִם֩'ei.na.YimH5869to seeלִרְא֜וֹתlir.'otH7200,and seeרָא֗וּra.'UH7200not; they have earsאָזְנַ֨יִם'a.ze.Na.yimH241to hearלִשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙lish.Mo.a'H8085,and hearשָׁמֵ֔עוּsha.Me.'uH8085not: for they area rebelliousמְרִ֖יme.RiH4805houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004.

3Therefore, thou sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120,prepareעֲשֵׂ֤ה'a.SehH6213thee stuffכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627for removingגוֹלָ֔הgo.LahH1473,and removeוּגְלֵ֥הu.ge.LehH1540by dayיוֹמָ֖םyo.MamH3119in their sightלְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑םle.'ei.nei.HemH5869;and thou shalt removeוְגָלִ֨יתָve.ga.Li.taH1540from thy placeמִמְּקוֹמְךָ֜mi.me.kom.ChaH4725to anotherאַחֵר֙'a.CherH312placeמָק֤וֹםma.KomH4725in their sightלְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔םle.'Ei.nei.HemH5869:it may be they will considerיִרְא֔וּyir.'UH7200, though they bea rebelliousמְרִ֖יme.RiH4805houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004.

4Then shalt thou bring forthוְהוֹצֵאתָ֨ve.ho.tze.TaH3318thy stuffכֵלֶ֜יךָkhe.Lei.khaH3627by dayיוֹמָ֖םyo.MamH3119in their sightלְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑םle.'ei.nei.HemH5869,as stuffכִּכְלֵ֥יkikh.LeiH3627for removingגוֹלָ֛הgo.LahH1473:and thou shalt go forthתֵּצֵ֤אte.Tze'H3318at evenבָעֶ֙רֶב֙va.'E.revH6153in their sightלְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔םle.'Ei.nei.HemH5869,as they that go forthכְּמוֹצָאֵ֖יke.mo.tza.'EiH4161into captivityגּוֹלָֽה׃go.LahH1473.

5Digחֲתָר־cha.tor-H2864thou through the wallבַקִּ֑ירva.KirH7023in their sightלְעֵינֵיהֶ֖םle.'ei.nei.HemH5869,and carry outוְהוֹצֵאתָ֖ve.ho.tze.TaH3318thereby.

6In their sightלְעֵ֨ינֵיהֶ֜םle.'Ei.nei.HemH5869shalt thou bearתִּשָּׂא֙ti.Sa'H5375it upon thyshouldersכָּתֵ֤ףka.TefH3802, and carry itforthתוֹצִ֔יאto.Tzi'H3318in the twilightבָּעֲלָטָ֣הba.'a.la.TahH5939:thou shalt coverתְכַסֶּ֔הte.kha.SehH3680thy faceפָּנֶ֣יךָpa.Nei.khaH6440,that thou seeתִרְאֶ֖הtir.'EhH7200not the groundהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776:for I have setנְתַתִּ֖יךָne.ta.Ti.khaH5414thee fora signמוֹפֵ֥תmo.FetH4159unto the houseלְבֵ֥יתle.VeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

7And I didוָאַ֣עַשׂva.'A.'asH6213so as I was commandedצֻוֵּיתִי֒tzu.vei.TiH6680:I brought forthהוֹצֵ֜אתִיho.Tze.tiH3318my stuffכֵּ֠לַיKe.laiH3627by dayיוֹמָ֔םyo.MamH3119,as stuffכִּכְלֵ֤יkikh.LeiH3627for captivityגוֹלָה֙go.LahH1473,and in the evenוּבָעֶ֛רֶבu.va.'E.revH6153I diggedחָתַֽרְתִּי־cha.tar.ti-H2864through the wallבַקִּ֖ירva.KirH7023with mine handבְּיָ֑דbe.YadH3027; I brought itforthהוֹצֵ֛אתִיho.Tze.tiH3318in the twilightבָּעֲלָטָ֥הba.'a.la.TahH5939, andI bareנָשָׂ֖אתִיna.Sa.tiH5375it upon myshoulderכָּתֵ֥ףka.TefH3802in their sightלְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ פle.'ei.nei.HemH5869.

8And in the morningבַּבֹּ֥קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242came the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068unto me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

9Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,hath not the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,the rebelliousהַמֶּ֑רִיha.Me.riH4805houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004,saidאָמְר֥וּ'a.me.RuH559unto thee, What doestעֹשֶֽׂה׃'o.SehH6213thou?

10Sayאֱמֹ֣ר'e.MorH559thou unto them, Thus saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהֹוִ֑הYah.wehH3069;This burdenהַמַּשָּׂ֤אha.ma.Sa'H4853concerneththe princeהַנָּשִׂ֞יאha.na.Si'H5387in Jerusalemבִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םbi.Ru.sha.LamH3389,and all the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478that areamongבְתוֹכָֽם׃ve.to.KhamH8432them.

11Sayאֱמֹ֖ר'e.MorH559, I amyour signמֽוֹפֶתְכֶ֑םmo.fet.KhemH4159:like as I have doneעָשִׂ֗יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213,so shall it be doneיֵעָשֶׂ֣הye.'a.SehH6213unto them: they shall removeבַּגּוֹלָ֥הba.go.LahH1473andgoH3212into captivityבַשְּׁבִ֖יva.she.ViH7628.

12And the princeוְהַנָּשִׂ֨יאve.ha.na.Si'H5387that isamongבְּתוֹכָ֜םbe.to.KhamH8432them shall bearיִשָּׂא֙yi.Sa'H5375upon hisshoulderכָּתֵ֤ףka.TefH3802in the twilightבָּעֲלָטָ֣הba.'a.la.TahH5939,and shall go forthוְיֵצֵ֔אve.ye.Tze'H3318:they shall digיַחְתְּר֖וּyach.te.RuH2864through the wallבַּקִּ֥ירba.KirH7023to carry outלְה֣וֹצִיאle.Ho.tzi'H3318thereby: he shall coverיְכַסֶּ֔הye.kha.SehH3680his faceפָּנָ֣יוpa.NavH6440,thatיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282he seeיִרְאֶ֥הyir.'EhH7200not the groundהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776with hiseyesלַעַ֛יִןla.'A.yinH5869.

13My netרִשְׁתִּי֙rish.TiH7568also will I spreadוּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤יu.fa.ras.TiH6566upon him, and he shall be takenוְנִתְפַּ֖שׂve.nit.PasH8610in my snareבִּמְצֽוּדָתִ֑יbim.tzu.da.TiH4686:and I will bringוְהֵבֵאתִ֨יve.he.ve.TiH935him to Babylonבָבֶ֙לָה֙va.Ve.lahH894tothe landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of the Chaldeansכַּשְׂדִּ֔יםkas.DimH3778;yet shall he not seeיִרְאֶ֖הyir.'EhH7200it, though he shall dieיָמֽוּת׃ya.MutH4191there.

14And I will scatterאֱזָרֶ֣ה'e.za.RehH2219toward every windר֑וּחַRu.achH7307all that areaboutסְבִיבֹתָ֥יוse.vi.vo.TavH5439him to helpעֶזְר֛וֹez.roH5828him, and all his bandsאֲגַפָּ֖יו'a.ga.PavH102;and I will draw outאָרִ֥יק'a.RikH7324the swordוְחֶ֖רֶבve.Che.revH2719afterאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃'a.cha.rei.HemH310them.

15And they shall knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,when I shall scatterבַּהֲפִיצִ֤יba.ha.fi.TziH6327them among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471,and disperseוְזֵרִיתִ֥יve.ze.ri.TiH2219them in the countriesבָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ba.'a.ra.TzotH776.

16But I will leaveוְהוֹתַרְתִּ֤יve.ho.tar.TiH3498a fewמִסְפָּ֔רmis.ParH4557menאַנְשֵׁ֣י'an.SheiH582of them from the swordמֵחֶ֖רֶבme.Che.revH2719,from the famineמֵרָעָ֣בme.ra.'AvH7458,and from the pestilenceוּמִדָּ֑בֶרu.mi.Da.verH1698;that they may declareיְסַפְּר֜וּye.sa.pe.RuH5608all their abominationsתּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֗םto.'a.vo.tei.HemH8441among the heathenבַּגּוֹיִם֙ba.go.YimH1471whither they comeבָּ֣אוּBa.'uH935;and they shall knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.

17Moreover the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came to me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

18Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,eatתֹּאכֵ֑לto.KhelH398thy breadלַחְמְךָ֖lach.me.KhaH3899with quakingבְּרַ֣עַשׁbe.Ra.'ashH7494,and drinkתִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃tish.TehH8354thy waterוּמֵימֶ֕יךָu.mei.Mei.khaH4325with tremblingבְּרָגְזָ֥הbe.ra.ge.ZahH7269and with carefulnessוּבִדְאָגָ֖הu.vid.'a.GahH1674;

19And sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto the peopleעַ֣ם'amH5971of the landאַדְמַ֣ת'ad.MatH127,Thus saithאָמַר֩'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֨י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִ֜הYah.wehH3069of the inhabitantsלְיוֹשְׁבֵ֤יle.yo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389, andof the landהָאָ֡רֶץha.'A.retzH776of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;They shall eatיֹאכֵ֔לוּyo.Khe.luH398their breadלַחְמָם֙lach.MamH3899with carefulnessבִּדְאָגָ֣הbid.'a.GahH1674,and drinkיִשְׁתּ֑וּyish.TuH8354their waterוּמֵֽימֵיהֶ֖םu.mei.mei.HemH4325with astonishmentבְּשִׁמָּמ֣וֹןbe.shi.ma.MonH8078,that her landאַרְצָהּ֙'ar.TzahH776may be desolateתֵּשַׁ֤םte.ShamH3456from all that is thereinמִמְּלֹאָ֔הּmi.me.lo.'AhH4393,because of the violenceמֵחֲמַ֖סme.cha.MasH2555of all them that dwellהַיֹּשְׁבִ֥יםhai.yo.she.VimH3427therein.

20And the citiesוְהֶעָרִ֤יםve.he.'a.RimH5892that are inhabitedהַנּֽוֹשָׁבוֹת֙ha.no.sha.VotH3427shall be laid wasteתֶּחֱרַ֔בְנָהte.che.Rav.nahH2717,and the landוְהָאָ֖רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776shall be desolateשְׁמָמָ֣הshe.ma.MahH8077;and ye shall knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֖םvi.da'.TemH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.

21And the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came unto me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

22Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120, what isthat proverbהַמָּשָׁ֤לha.ma.ShalH4912thatye have in the landאַדְמַ֥ת'ad.MatH127of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,The daysהַיָּמִ֔יםhai.ya.MimH3117are prolongedיַֽאַרְכוּ֙ya.'ar.KhuH748,and every visionחָזֽוֹן׃cha.ZonH2377failethוְאָבַ֖דve.'a.VadH6?

23Tellאֱמֹ֣ר'e.MorH559them therefore, Thus saithאָמַר֮'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִה֒Yah.wehH3069;I will make this proverbהַמָּשָׁ֣לha.ma.ShalH4912to ceaseהִשְׁבַּ֙תִּי֙hish.Ba.tiH7673,and they shall no more use it as a proverbיִמְשְׁל֥וּyim.she.LuH4911in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478;but sayדַּבֵּ֣רda.BerH1696unto them, The daysהַיָּמִ֔יםhai.ya.MimH3117are at handקָֽרְבוּ֙ka.re.VuH7126,and the effectוּדְבַ֖רu.de.VarH1697of every visionחָזֽוֹן׃cha.ZonH2377.

24For there shall be no more any vainשָׁ֖וְאshav'H7723visionחֲז֥וֹןcha.ZonH2377nor flatteringחָלָ֑קcha.LakH2509divinationוּמִקְסַ֣םu.mik.SamH4738withinבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

25For I amYhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068:I will speakאֲדַבֵּר֙'a.da.BerH1696,and the wordדָּבָר֙da.VarH1697that I shall speakאֲדַבֵּ֤ר'a.da.BerH1696shall come to passוְיֵ֣עָשֶׂ֔הve.Ye.'a.SehH6213;it shall be no more prolongedתִמָּשֵׁ֖ךְti.ma.ShekhH4900:for in your daysבִֽימֵיכֶ֞םvi.mei.KhemH3117,O rebelliousהַמֶּ֗רִיha.Me.riH4805houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004,will I sayאֲדַבֵּ֤ר'a.da.BerH1696the wordדָּבָר֙da.VarH1697,and will performוַעֲשִׂיתִ֔יוva.'a.si.TivH6213it, saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.

26Again the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came to me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

27Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120, behold, they ofthe houseבֵֽית־veit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478sayאֹֽמְרִ֔ים'o.me.RimH559,The visionהֶחָז֛וֹןhe.cha.ZonH2377that he seethחֹזֶ֖הcho.ZehH2372isfor manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227daysלְיָמִ֣יםle.ya.MimH3117to come,and he prophesiethנִבָּֽא׃ni.Ba'H5012of the timesוּלְעִתִּ֥יםu.le.'i.TimH6256that arefarרְחוֹק֖וֹתre.cho.KotH7350off.

28Therefore sayאֱמֹ֣ר'e.MorH559unto them, Thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069;There shall none of my wordsדְּבָרָ֑יde.va.RaiH1697be prolongedתִמָּשֵׁ֥ךְti.ma.ShekhH4900any more, but the wordדָּבָר֙da.VarH1697which I have spokenאֲדַבֵּ֤ר'a.da.BerH1696shall be doneוְיֵ֣עָשֶׂ֔הve.Ye.'a.SehH6213,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִֽה׃ סYah.wehH3069.
