2Then saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559Yhwhיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068unto me; This gateהַשַּׁ֣עַרha.Sha.'arH8179shall be shutסָג֨וּרsa.GurH5462,it shall not be openedיִפָּתֵ֗חַyi.pa.Te.achH6605,and no manוְאִישׁ֙ve.'IshH376shall enterיָ֣בֹאYa.vo'H935in by it; because Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵֽי־'e.lo.hei-H430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,hath enteredבָּ֣אba'H935in by it, therefore it shall be shutסָגֽוּר׃sa.GurH5462.

6And thou shalt sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֤ve.'a.mar.TaH559to the rebelliousמֶ֙רִי֙me.riH4805, evento the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,Thus saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069;O ye houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478,let it sufficeרַב־rav-H7227you of all your abominationsתּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖םto.'a.vo.tei.KhemH8441,

7In that ye have broughtבַּהֲבִיאֲכֶ֣םba.ha.vi.'a.KhemH935into my sanctuarystrangersבְּנֵֽי־ נֵכָ֗רbe.nei- ne.KharH5236 H1121,uncircumcisedעַרְלֵי־'ar.lei-H6189in heartלֵב֙levH3820,and uncircumcisedוְעַרְלֵ֣יve.'ar.LeiH6189in fleshבָשָׂ֔רva.SarH1320,to be in my sanctuaryבְּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖יbe.mik.da.ShiH4720,to polluteלְחַלְּל֣וֹle.cha.le.LoH2490it, evenmy houseבֵּיתִ֑יbei.TiH1004,when ye offerבְּהַקְרִֽיבְכֶ֤םbe.hak.ri.ve.KhemH7126my breadלַחְמִי֙lach.MiH3899,the fatחֵ֣לֶבChe.levH2459and the bloodוָדָ֔םva.DamH1818,and they have brokenוַיָּפֵ֙רוּ֙vai.ya.Fe.ruH6565my covenantבְּרִיתִ֔יbe.ri.TiH1285becauseאֶ֖ל'elH413of all your abominationsתּוֹעֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃to.'a.vo.tei.KhemH8441.

8And ye have not keptשְׁמַרְתֶּ֖םshe.mar.TemH8104the chargeמִשְׁמֶ֣רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of mine holy thingsקָדָשָׁ֑יka.da.ShaiH6944:but ye have setוַתְּשִׂימ֗וּןva.te.si.MunH7760keepersלְשֹׁמְרֵ֧יle.sho.me.ReiH8104of my chargeמִשְׁמַרְתִּ֛יmish.mar.TiH4931in my sanctuaryבְּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖יbe.mik.da.ShiH4720for yourselves.

9Thus saithאָמַר֮'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִה֒Yah.wehH3069;No strangerH5236 H1121,uncircumcisedעֶ֤רֶל'E.relH6189in heartלֵב֙levH3820,nor uncircumcisedוְעֶ֣רֶלve.'E.relH6189in fleshבָּשָׂ֔רba.SarH1320,shall enterיָב֖וֹאya.Vo'H935into my sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֑יmik.da.ShiH4720, of any stranger that isamongבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the childrenH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

10And the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֗םhal.vi.YimH3881that are gone away farרָֽחֲקוּ֙ra.cha.KuH7368from me, when Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478went astrayבִּתְע֤וֹתbit.'otH8582,which went astray awayתָּע֣וּta.'UH8582from me afterאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310their idolsגִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֑םgi.lu.lei.HemH1544;they shall even bearוְנָשְׂא֖וּve.na.se.'UH5375their iniquityעֲוֹנָֽם׃'a.vo.NamH5771.

11Yet they shall be ministersמְשָׁ֣רְתִ֔יםme.Sha.re.TimH8334in my sanctuaryבְמִקְדָּשִׁי֙ve.mik.da.ShiH4720, havingchargeפְּקֻדּוֹת֙pe.ku.dOtH6486at the gatesשַׁעֲרֵ֣יsha.'a.ReiH8179of the houseהַבַּ֔יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,and ministeringוּֽמְשָׁרְתִ֖יםu.me.sha.re.TimH8334to the houseהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004:they shall slayיִשְׁחֲט֨וּyish.cha.TuH7819the burnt offeringהָעֹלָ֤הha.'o.LahH5930and the sacrificeהַזֶּ֙בַח֙ha.Ze.vachH2077for the peopleלָעָ֔םla.'AmH5971,and they shall standיַעַמְד֥וּya.'am.DuH5975beforeלִפְנֵיהֶ֖םlif.nei.HemH6440them to ministerלְשָֽׁרְתָֽם׃le.Sha.re.TamH8334unto them.

12Because they ministeredיְשָׁרְת֤וּye.sha.re.TuH8334unto them beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440their idolsגִלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֔םgi.lu.lei.HemH1544,and caused the houseלְבֵֽית־le.veit-H1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478to fallלְמִכְשׁ֣וֹלle.mikh.SholH4383into iniquityעָוֹ֑ן'a.VonH5771;therefore have I lifted upנָשָׂ֨אתִיna.Sa.tiH5375mine handיָדִ֜יya.DiH3027against them, saithנְאֻם֙ne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069,and they shall bearוְנָשְׂא֖וּve.na.se.'UH5375their iniquityעֲוֹנָֽם׃'a.vo.NamH5771.

13And they shall not come nearיִגְּשׁ֤וּyi.ge.ShuH5066unto me, to do the office of a priestלְכַהֵ֣ןle.kha.HenH3547unto me, nor to come nearוְלָגֶ֙שֶׁת֙ve.la.Ge.shetH5066to any of my holy thingsH6944,in the most holyH6944place:but they shall bearוְנָֽשְׂאוּ֙ve.na.se.'UH5375their shameכְּלִמָּתָ֔םke.li.ma.TamH3639,and their abominationsוְתוֹעֲבוֹתָ֖םve.to.'a.vo.TamH8441which they have committedעָשֽׂוּ׃'a.SuH6213.

14But I will makeוְנָתַתִּ֣יve.na.ta.TiH5414them keepersשֹׁמְרֵ֖יsho.me.ReiH8104of the chargeמִשְׁמֶ֣רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of the houseהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,for all the serviceעֲבֹ֣דָת֔וֹa.Vo.da.ToH5656thereof, and for all that shall be doneיֵעָשֶׂ֖הye.'a.SehH6213therein.

15But the priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨יםve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֜םhal.vi.YimH3881,the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Zadokצָד֗וֹקtza.DokH6659,that keptשָׁמְר֜וּsha.me.RuH8104the chargeמִשְׁמֶ֤רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of my sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁי֙mik.da.ShiH4720when the childrenבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478went astrayבִּתְע֤וֹתbit.'otH8582from me, they shall come nearיִקְרְב֥וּyik.re.VuH7126to me to ministerלְשָֽׁרְתֵ֑נִיle.sha.re.Te.niH8334unto me, and they shall standוְעָמְד֣וּve.'a.me.DuH5975beforeלְפָנַ֗יle.fa.NaiH6440me to offerלְהַקְרִ֥יבle.hak.RivH7126unto me the fatחֵ֣לֶבChe.levH2459and the bloodוָדָ֔םva.DamH1818,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִֽה׃Yah.wehH3069:

16They shall enterיָבֹ֣אוּya.Vo.'uH935into my sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֗יmik.da.ShiH4720,and they shall come nearיִקְרְב֥וּyik.re.VuH7126to my tableשֻׁלְחָנִ֖יshul.cha.NiH7979,to ministerלְשָׁרְתֵ֑נִיle.sha.re.Te.niH8334unto me, and they shall keepוְשָׁמְר֖וּve.sha.me.RuH8104my chargeמִשְׁמַרְתִּֽי׃mish.mar.TiH4931.

17And it shall come to pass, thatwhen they enterבְּבוֹאָם֙be.vo.'AmH935in at the gatesשַׁעֲרֵי֙sha.'a.ReiH8179of the innerהַפְּנִימִ֔יתha.pe.ni.MitH6442courtהֶחָצֵ֣רhe.cha.TzerH2691,they shall be clothedיִלְבָּ֑שׁוּyil.Ba.shuH3847with linenפִשְׁתִּ֖יםfish.TimH6593garmentsבִּגְדֵ֥יbig.DeiH899;and no woolצֶ֔מֶרTze.merH6785shall comeיַעֲלֶ֤הya.'a.LehH5927upon them, whiles they ministerבְּשָֽׁרְתָ֗םbe.sha.re.TamH8334in the gatesבְּשַׁעֲרֵ֛יbe.sha.'a.ReiH8179of the innerהַפְּנִימִ֖יתha.pe.ni.MitH6442courtהֶחָצֵ֥רhe.cha.TzerH2691,and withinוָבָֽיְתָה׃va.Va.ye.tahH1004.

18They shall have linenפִשְׁתִּים֙fish.TimH6593bonnetsפַּאֲרֵ֤יpa.'a.ReiH6287upon their headsרֹאשָׁ֔םro.ShamH7218,and shall have linenפִשְׁתִּ֔יםfish.TimH6593breechesוּמִכְנְסֵ֣יu.mikh.ne.SeiH4370upon their loinsמָתְנֵיהֶ֑םma.te.nei.HemH4975;they shall not girdיַחְגְּר֖וּyach.ge.RuH2296themselveswith any thing that causeth sweatבַּיָּֽזַע׃bai.Ya.za'H3154.

19And when they go forthוּ֠בְצֵאתָםU.ve.tze.tomH3318into the utterהַחִיצוֹנָ֜הha.chi.tzo.NahH2435courtהֶחָצֵ֨רhe.cha.TzerH2691, eveninto the utterהַחִיצוֹנָה֮ha.chi.tzo.NahH2435courtהֶחָצֵ֣רhe.cha.TzerH2691to the peopleהָעָם֒ha.'AmH5971,they shall put offיִפְשְׁט֣וּyif.she.TuH6584their garmentsבִּגְדֵיהֶ֗םbig.dei.HemH899wherein they ministeredמְשָׁרְתִ֣םme.sha.re.TimH8334,and layH3240them in the holyהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944chambersבְּלִֽשְׁכֹ֣תbe.lish.KhotH3957,and they shall putוְלָֽבְשׁוּ֙ve.la.ve.ShuH3847on otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312garmentsבְּגָדִ֣יםbe.ga.DimH899;and they shall not sanctifyיְקַדְּשׁ֥וּye.ka.de.ShuH6942the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971with their garmentsבְּבִגְדֵיהֶֽם׃be.vig.dei.HemH899.

20Neither shall they shaveיְגַלֵּ֔חוּye.ga.Le.chuH1548their headsוְרֹאשָׁם֙ve.ro.ShamH7218,nor suffer their locksוּפֶ֖רַעu.Fe.ra'H6545to grow longיְשַׁלֵּ֑חוּye.sha.Le.chuH7971;they shall onlyכָּס֥וֹםka.SomH3697pollיִכְסְמ֖וּyikh.se.MuH3697their headsרָאשֵׁיהֶֽם׃ra.shei.HemH7218.

21Neither shall any priestכֹּהֵ֑ןko.HenH3548drinkיִשְׁתּ֖וּyish.TuH8354wineוְיַ֥יִןve.Ya.yinH3196,when they enterבְּבוֹאָ֖םbe.vo.'AmH935into the innerהַפְּנִימִֽית׃ha.pe.ni.MitH6442courtהֶחָצֵ֥רhe.cha.TzerH2691.

22Neither shall they takeיִקְח֥וּyik.ChuH3947for their wivesלְנָשִׁ֑יםle.na.ShimH802a widowH490,nor her that is put awayוּגְרוּשָׁ֔הu.ge.ru.ShahH1644:but they shall takeיִקָּֽחוּ׃yi.Ka.chuH3947maidensבְּתוּלֹ֗תbe.tu.LotH1330of the seedמִזֶּ֙רַע֙mi.Ze.ra'H2233of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,or a widowH490that had a priestמִכֹּהֵ֖ןmi.ko.HenH3548before.

23And they shall teachיוֹר֔וּyo.RuH3384my peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971the differencebetween the holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944and profaneלְחֹ֑לle.CholH2455,and cause them to discernיוֹדִעֻֽם׃yo.di.'UmH3045between the uncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931and the cleanלְטָה֖וֹרle.ta.HorH2889.

24And in controversyרִ֗יבRivH7379they shall standיַעַמְד֣וּya.'am.DuH5975in judgmentH8199; andthey shall judgeיִשְׁפְּט֑וּהוּyish.fe.tu.huH8199it according to my judgmentsH4941:and they shall keepיִשְׁמֹ֔רוּyish.Mo.ruH8104my lawsתּוֹרֹתַ֤יto.ro.TaiH8451and my statutesחֻקֹּתַי֙chu.ko.TaiH2708in all mine assembliesמוֹעֲדַ֣יmo.'a.DaiH4150;and they shall hallowיְקַדֵּֽשׁוּ׃ye.ka.De.shuH6942my sabbathsשַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖יsha.be.to.TaiH7676.

25And they shall comeיָב֖וֹאya.Vo'H935at no deadמֵ֣תmetH4191personאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120to defileלְטָמְאָ֑הle.ta.me.'AhH2930themselves: but for fatherלְאָ֡בle.'AvH1,or for motherוּ֠לְאֵםU.le.'emH517,or for sonוּלְבֵ֨ןu.le.VenH1121,or for daughterוּלְבַ֜תu.le.VatH1323,for brotherלְאָ֗חle.'AchH251,or for sisterוּלְאָח֛וֹתu.le.'a.ChotH269that hath had no husbandלְאִ֖ישׁle.'IshH376,they may defileיִטַּמָּֽאוּ׃yi.ta.Ma.'uH2930themselves.

26And afterוְאַחֲרֵ֖יve.'a.cha.ReiH310he is cleansedטָֽהֳרָת֑וֹto.ho.ra.ToH2893,they shall reckonיִסְפְּרוּ־yis.pe.ru-H5608unto him sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117.

28And it shall be unto them for an inheritanceלְֽנַחֲלָ֔הle.na.cha.LahH5159: I amtheir inheritanceנַֽחֲלָתָ֑םna.cha.la.TamH5159:and ye shall giveתִתְּנ֤וּti.te.NuH5414them no possessionוַאֲחֻזָּ֗הva.'a.chu.ZahH272in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478: I amtheir possessionאֲחֻזָּתָֽם׃'a.chu.za.TamH272.

29They shall eatיֹֽאכְל֑וּםyokh.LumH398the grain offeringהַמִּנְחָה֙ha.min.ChahH4503,and the sin offeringוְהַחַטָּ֣אתve.ha.cha.TatH2403,and the trespass offeringוְהָאָשָׁ֔םve.ha.'a.ShamH817;and every dedicated thingחֵ֥רֶםChe.remH2764in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall be theirs.

31The priestsהַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ פha.ko.ha.NimH3548shall not eatיֹאכְל֖וּyo.khe.LuH398of any thing that is dead of itselfנְבֵלָה֙ne.ve.LahH5038,or tornוּטְרֵפָ֔הu.te.re.FahH2966,whether it be fowlהָע֖וֹףha.'ofH5775or beastהַבְּהֵמָ֑הha.be.he.MahH929.
