5And it shall come to pass, that on the sixthהַשִּׁשִּׁ֔יha.shi.ShiH8345dayH3117they shall prepareוְהֵכִ֖ינוּve.he.Khi.nuH3559thatwhichH834they bring inיָבִ֑יאוּya.Vi.'uH935;and it shall be twiceמִשְׁנֶ֔הmish.NehH4932as much as they gatherיִלְקְט֖וּyil.ke.TuH3950dailyH3117.

11And Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֥הmo.ShehH4872,sayingלֵּאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

12I have heardשָׁמַ֗עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085the murmuringsתְּלוּנֹּת֮te.lu.NotH8519of the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478:speakדַּבֵּ֨רda.BerH1696unto them, sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559,At evenבֵּ֤ין הָֽעַרְבַּ֙יִם֙bein ha.'ar.Ba.yimH6153 H996ye shall eatתֹּאכְל֣וּto.khe.LuH398fleshבָשָׂ֔רva.SarH1320,and in the morningוּבַבֹּ֖קֶרu.va.Bo.kerH1242ye shall be filledתִּשְׂבְּעוּ־tis.be.'u-H7646with breadלָ֑חֶםLa.chemH3899;and ye shall knowוִֽידַעְתֶּ֕םvi.da'.TemH3045that I amYhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.KhemH430.

13And it came to pass, that at evenבָעֶ֔רֶבva.'E.revH6153the quailsהַשְּׂלָ֔וha.se.LavH7958came upוַתַּ֣עַלva.Ta.'alH5927,and coveredוַתְּכַ֖סva.te.KhasH3680the campהַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑הha.ma.cha.NehH4264:and in the morningוּבַבֹּ֗קֶרu.va.Bo.kerH1242the dewהַטַּ֔לha.TalH2919layשִׁכְבַ֣תshikh.VatH7902round aboutסָבִ֖יבsa.VivH5439the hostלַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃La.ma.cha.NehH4264.

14And when the dewהַטָּ֑לha.TalH2919that layשִׁכְבַ֣תshikh.VatH7902was gone upוַתַּ֖עַלva.Ta.'alH5927,behold, upon the faceפְּנֵ֤יpe.NeiH6440of the wildernessהַמִּדְבָּר֙ha.mid.BarH4057there laya smallדַּ֣קdakH1851round thingמְחֻסְפָּ֔סme.chus.PasH2636, assmallדַּ֥קdakH1851as the hoar frostכַּכְּפֹ֖רka.ke.ForH3713on the groundהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

15And when the childrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478sawוַיִּרְא֣וּvai.yir.'UH7200it,they saidוַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559oneאִ֤ישׁ'ishH376to anotherאָחִיו֙'a.ChivH251, It ismannaמָ֣ןmanH4478:for they wistיָדְע֖וּya.de.'UH3045not what it was.And Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, This isthe breadהַלֶּ֔חֶםha.Le.chemH3899which Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068hath givenנָתַ֧ןna.TanH5414you to eatלְאָכְלָֽה׃le.'okh.LahH402.

17And the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478didוַיַּעֲשׂוּ־vai.ya.'a.su-H6213so, and gatheredוַֽיִּלְקְט֔וּvai.yil.ke.TuH3950,some moreהַמַּרְבֶּ֖הha.mar.BehH7235,some lessוְהַמַּמְעִֽיט׃ve.ha.mam.'ItH4591.

18And when they did meteוַיָּמֹ֣דּוּvai.ya.Mo.duH4058itwith an omerבָעֹ֔מֶרva.'O.merH6016,he that gathered muchהַמַּרְבֶּ֔הha.mar.BehH7235had nothing overהֶעְדִּיף֙he'.DifH5736,and he that gathered littleוְהַמַּמְעִ֖יטve.ha.mam.'ItH4591had no lackהֶחְסִ֑ירhech.SirH2637;they gatheredלָקָֽטוּ׃la.Ka.tuH3950every manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376accordingלְפִֽי־le.fi-H6310to his eatingאָכְל֖וֹ'a.khe.LoH400.

20Notwithstanding they hearkenedשָׁמְע֣וּsha.me.'UH8085not unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872;but someאֲנָשִׁ֤ים'a.na.ShimH582of them leftוַיּוֹתִ֨רוּvai.yo.Ti.ruH3498of it until the morningבֹּ֔קֶרBo.kerH1242,and it bredוַיָּ֥רֻםvai.Ya.rumH7311wormsתּוֹלָעִ֖יםto.la.'ImH8438,and stankוַיִּבְאַ֑שׁvai.yiv.'AshH887:and Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃mo.ShehH4872was wrothוַיִּקְצֹ֥ףvai.yik.TzofH7107with them.

25And Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Eatאִכְלֻ֣הוּ'ikh.Lu.huH398that to dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117;for to dayהַיּ֖וֹםhai.YomH3117isa sabbathשַׁבָּ֥תsha.BatH7676unto Yhwhלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068:to dayהַיּ֕וֹםhai.YomH3117ye shall not findתִמְצָאֻ֖הוּtim.tza.'U.huH4672it in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃ba.sa.DehH7704.

26Sixשֵׁ֥שֶׁתShe.shetH8337daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117ye shall gatherתִּלְקְטֻ֑הוּtil.ke.Tu.huH3950it; but on the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֛יha.she.vi.'IH7637dayוּבַיּ֧וֹםu.vai.YomH3117, which isthe sabbathשַׁבָּ֖תsha.BatH7676, in it there shall be none.

27And it came to pass, thatthere went outיָצְא֥וּya.tze.'UH3318someof the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971on the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔יha.she.vi.'IH7637dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117for to gatherלִלְקֹ֑טlil.KotH3950,and they foundמָצָֽאוּ׃ סma.Tza.'uH4672none.

28And Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872,How long refuseמֵֽאַנְתֶּ֔םme.'an.TemH3985ye to keepלִשְׁמֹ֥רlish.MorH8104my commandmentsמִצְוֹתַ֖יmitz.vo.TaiH4687and my lawsוְתוֹרֹתָֽי׃ve.to.ro.TaiH8451?
