1 John 2:22-29

22WhoG5101 is the liarG5583 exceptG1508 1the one who deniesG720 that JesusG2424 is the 2ChristG5547? ThisG3778 is 3the antichristG500, the one who deniesG720 the FatherG3962 and the SonG5207. 234WhoeverG3956 deniesG720 the SonG5207 does not haveG2192 the FatherG3962; the one who confessesG3670 the SonG5207 hasG2192 the FatherG3962 alsoG2532. 24As for you, see that whatG3739 you heardG191 5from the beginningG746 remainsG3306 in you. IfG1437 whatG3739 you heard from the beginningG746 remainsG3306 in you, you alsoG2532 6will remainG3306 in the SonG5207 and in the FatherG3962. 257ThisG3778 is the promiseG1860 whichG3739 He HimselfG846 8madeG1861 to us: eternalG166 lifeG2222.

26TheseG3778 thingsG3778 I have writtenG1125 to you concerningG4012 thoseG3588 who are trying to 9deceiveG4105 you. 27And as for you, the 10anointingG5545 whichG3739 you receivedG2983 from Him remainsG3306 in you, and you haveG2192 noG3756 needG5532 for anyoneG5100 to teachG1321 you; but as His anointingG5545 11teachesG1321 you aboutG4012 allG3956 thingsG3956, and is 12trueG227 and is not a lieG5579, and justG2531 asG2531 it has taughtG1321 you, 13you remainG3306 in Him.

28NowG3568, 14littleG5040 childrenG5040, remainG3306 in Him, soG2443 thatG2443 whenG1437 He 15appearsG5319, we may haveG2192 16confidenceG3954 and 17not 18drawG153 backG153 from Him inG153 shameG153 19at His 20comingG3952. 29IfG1437 you knowG3609 that 21He is righteousG1342, you knowG1097 that everyoneG3956 who practicesG4160 righteousnessG1343 alsoG2532 22has been bornG1080 of Him.
