16Howeverἀλλ᾽all᾽G235, theydid not allπάντεςpantesG3956heedὑπήκουσανhupēkousanG5219thegoodG2098newsG2098;for IsaiahἨσαΐαςĒsaiasG2268saysλέγει·legeiG3004, “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,whoτίςtisG5101has believedἐπίστευσενepisteusenG4100our reportἀκοῇakoēaG189?”

17SoἄραaraG686faithπίστιςpistisG4102comes fromhearingἀκοῆςakoēsG189,and hearingἀκοὴakoēG189bythe wordῥήματοςrhēmatosG4487of ChristΧριστοῦ.ChristouG5547.

18But I sayλέγω·legōG3004,surelyG3361they have neverοὐκoukG3361 G3756heardἤκουσαν;ēkousanG191,have they? 19But I sayλέγω·legōG3004,surelyμὴmēG3361IsraelἸσραὴλIsraēlG2474did not knowἔγνω;egnōG1097,did they? FirstπρῶτοςprōtosG4413MosesΜωϋσῆςMōusēsG3475saysλέγει·legeiG3004, “I willmakeG3863you jealousG3863with those who arenot a nationἔθνειethneiG1484,With a foolishἀσυνέτῳasunetōG801nationἔθνειethneiG1484I will angerπαροργιῶparorgiōG3949you.”

20And IsaiahἨσαΐαςĒsaiasG2268is veryG662boldG662and saysλέγει·legeiG3004, “I was foundεὑρέθηνheurethēnG2147by thoseτοῖςtoisG3588who did not seekζητοῦσιν,zētousinG2212Me,I revealedἐμφανὴς ἐγενόμηνemphanēs egenomēnG1096 G1717Myself to thoseτοῖςtoisG3588who did not askἐπερωτῶσιν.eperōtōsinG1905for Me.”

21But as for IsraelἸσραὴλIsraēlG2474,He saysλέγει·legeiG3004, “I have spreadG1600outG1600My handsχεῖράςcheirasG5495allὅληνholēnG3650dayἡμέρανhēmeranG2250long to a disobedientἀπειθοῦνταapeithountaG544and obstinateἀντιλέγοντα.¶antilegontaG483peopleλαὸνlaonG2992.”
