12It is not in heavenבַשָּׁמַ֖יִםva.sha.Ma.yimH8064,that you could sayלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, ‘Whoמִ֣יmiH4310will goיַעֲלֶה־ya.'a.leh-H5927upH5927to heavenהַשָּׁמַ֙יְמָה֙ha.sha.May.mahH8064for us and getוְיִקָּחֶ֣הָve.yi.ka.Che.haH3947it for us, and proclaimוְיַשְׁמִעֵ֥נוּve.yash.mi.'E.nuH8085it to us, so that we mayfollowוְנַעֲשֶֽׂנָּה׃ve.na.'a.Se.nahH6213it?’
13Norוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808is it beyondH4480H5676the seaלַיָּ֖םlai.YamH3220,that you could sayלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, ‘Whoמִ֣יmiH4310will crossיַעֲבָר־ אֶל־ya.'a.vor- 'el-H5674H413H5675the seaהַיָּם֙hai.YamH3220for us and getוְיִקָּחֶ֣הָve.yi.ka.Che.haH3947it for us and proclaimוְיַשְׁמִעֵ֥נוּve.yash.mi.'E.nuH8085it to us, so that we mayfollowוְנַעֲשֶֽׂנָּה׃ve.na.'a.Se.nahH6213it?’
16in that I am commandingמְצַוְּךָ֮me.tza.ve.KhaH6680you todayהַיּוֹם֒hai.yOmH3117to loveלְאַהֲבָ֞הle.'a.ha.VahH157the LordH3068your GodH430,to walkלָלֶ֣כֶתla.Le.khetH1980in His waysבִּדְרָכָ֔יוbid.ra.KhavH1870and to keepוְלִשְׁמֹ֛רve.lish.MorH8104His commandmentsH4687,His statutesוְחֻקֹּתָ֖יוve.chu.ko.TavH2708,and His judgmentsוּמִשְׁפָּטָ֑יוu.mish.pa.TavH4941, so that youmay liveוְחָיִ֣יתָve.cha.Yi.taH2421and becomeH7235numerousH7235,and that the LordH3068your GodH430may blessוּבֵֽרַכְךָ֙u.ve.rakh.KhaH1288you in the landבָּאָ֕רֶץba.'A.retzH776whereשָׁ֖מָּהSha.mahH834H8033you are enteringבָא־va'-H935to takeלְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃le.rish.TahH3423possessionH3423of it.
17But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518your heartלְבָבְךָ֖le.va.ve.KhaH3824turnsיִפְנֶ֥הyif.NehH6437awayH6437and you will not obeyתִשְׁמָ֑עtish.Ma'H8085,but allow yourself to be ledH5080astrayH5080and you worshipH2331otherאֲחֵרִ֖ים'a.che.RimH312godsלֵאלֹהִ֥יםle.lo.HimH430and serveוַעֲבַדְתָּֽם׃va.'a.vad.TamH5647them,
18I declareהִגַּ֤דְתִּיhi.Gad.tiH5046to you todayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117thatyou will certainlyאָבֹ֖ד'a.VodH6perishתֹּאבֵד֑וּןtoe.DunH6.You will not prolongתַאֲרִיכֻ֤ןta.'a.ri.KhunH748yourdaysיָמִים֙ya.MimH3117in the landהָ֣אֲדָמָ֔הha.'a.da.MahH127whereאֲשֶׁ֨ר שָׁ֖מָּה'a.Sher Sha.mahH834H8033you are crossingעֹבֵר֙'o.VerH5674the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֔ןhai.yar.DenH3383to enterלָבֹ֥אla.Vo'H935and takeלְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃le.rish.TahH3423possessionH3423of it.
