24buttheir plotἐπιβουλὴepiboulēG1917became knownἐγνώσθηegnōsthēG1097to SaulΣαύλῳSaulōG4569.They were alsoG2532closelyG3906watchingπαρετηροῦντοparetērountoG3906the gatesπύλαςpulasG4439dayἡμέραςhēmerasG2250and nightνυκτός,nuktosG3571soὅπωςhopōsG3704thatG3704they might putG337him to deathG337;

25but his disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101tookλαβόντεςlabontesG2983him at nightνυκτὸςnuktosG3571and letG2524him downκαθῆκανkathēkanG2524throughδιὰdiaG1223an opening inthe wallτείχουςteichousG5038,loweringχαλάσαντεςchalasantesG2524 G5465him in a largeG4711basketG4711.

26When he cameΠαραγενόμενοςParagenomenosG3854to JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419,he triedἐπείραζενepeirazenG3985repeatedlyto associateκολλᾶσθαιkollasthaiG2853with the disciplesμαθηταῖς·mathētaisG3101; and yetthey wereG5399allπάντεςpantesG3956afraidἐφοβοῦντοephobountoG5399of him, as they did not believeπιστεύοντεςpisteuontesG4100that he was a discipleμαθητής.mathētēsG3101.

28And he was with them,movingG1531 G2532 G1607aboutG1531 G2532 G1607freelyG1531 G2532 G1607in JerusalemἸερουσαλήμ,IerousalēmG2419,speakingG3955outG3955boldlyG3955in the nameG3686of the LordG2962.

29And he was talkingἐλάλειelaleiG2980and arguingσυνεζήτειsunezēteiG4802with theHellenisticἙλληνιστάς·HellēnistasG1675Jews;but they were attemptingἐπεχείρουνepecheirounG2021to putG337him toG337deathG337.

30NowδὲdeG1161when thebrothersἀδελφοὶadelphoiG80learnedἐπιγνόντεςepignontesG1921of it,they broughtG2609him downκατήγαγονkatēgagonG2609toCaesareaΚαισάρειανKaisareianG2542andsentG1821him awayἐξαπέστειλανexapesteilanG1821toTarsusΤαρσόν.¶TarsonG5019.
