7Then Saulשָׁא֜וּלsha.'UlH7586saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to his servantsלַעֲבָדָ֗יוla.'a.va.DavH5650, “FindH1875for me a womanאֵ֣שֶׁת'E.shetH802who is a mediumבַּעֲלַת־ א֔וֹבba.'a.lat- 'ovH1172 H178,so that I may goוְאֵלְכָ֥הve.'e.le.KhahH1980to her and inquireH1875of her.” And his servantsעֲבָדָיו֙'a.va.DavH5650saidוַיֹּאמְר֤וּvai.yo.me.RuH559to him, “Beholdהִנֵּ֛הhi.NehH2009,there is a womanאֵ֥שֶׁת'E.shetH802who is a mediumבַּֽעֲלַת־ א֖וֹבba.'a.lat- 'ovH1172 H178atEn-dorH5874.”

8Then Saulשָׁא֗וּלsha.'UlH7586disguisedוַיִּתְחַפֵּ֣שׂvai.yit.cha.PesH2664himself by puttingH3847onH3847differentאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312clothesבְּגָדִ֣יםbe.ga.DimH899,and wentוַיֵּ֣לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980,he and twoוּשְׁנֵ֤יu.she.NeiH8147menH376with him, and they cameוַיָּבֹ֥אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802by nightלָ֑יְלָהLa.ye.lahH3915;and he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Consultקָֽסֳמִיka.so.mi-H7080the spiritבָּא֔וֹבba.'ovH178for me, pleaseנָ֥אna'H4994, andbringוְהַ֣עֲלִיve.Ha.'a.liH5927upH5927for me the onewhomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I shallnameאֹמַ֖ר'o.MarH559for you.”

9But the womanהָֽאִשָּׁ֜הha.'i.ShahH802saidוַתֹּ֨אמֶרva.To.merH559to him, “Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,you knowיָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ya.Da'.taH3045whatH834Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586has doneעָשָׂ֣ה'a.SahH6213,that he has eliminatedהִכְרִ֛יתhikh.RitH3772the mediumsהָאֹב֥וֹתha.'o.VotH178and spiritistsהַיִּדְּעֹנִ֖יhai.yi.de.'o.NiH3049from the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776.Whyוְלָמָ֥הve.la.MahH4100are you then settingH5367aH5367trapמִתְנַקֵּ֥שׁmit.na.KeshH5367for my lifeבְּנַפְשִׁ֖יbe.naf.ShiH5315,to bringH4191aboutH4191my deathH4191?”
