24Then Saulשָׁא֤וּלsha.'UlH7586saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Samuelשְׁמוּאֵל֙she.mu.'ElH8050, “I have sinnedחָטָ֔אתִיcha.Ta.tiH2398, forI have violatedעָבַ֥רְתִּי'a.Var.tiH5674thecommandפִּֽי־pi-H6310of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068and your wordsדְּבָרֶ֑יךָde.va.Rei.khaH1697,becauseH3588I fearedיָרֵ֙אתִי֙ya.Re.tiH3372the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971and listenedוָאֶשְׁמַ֖עva.'esh.Ma'H8085to their voiceבְּקוֹלָֽם׃be.ko.LamH6963.

25Nowוְעַתָּ֕הve.'a.TahH6258then,pleaseנָ֖אna'H4994pardonH5545my sinחַטָּאתִ֑יcha.ta.TiH2403and returnוְשׁ֣וּבve.ShuvH7725with me, so that I may worshipH2331the Lordלַֽיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.”

26But Samuelשְׁמוּאֵל֙she.mu.'ElH8050saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586, “I will not returnאָשׁ֖וּב'a.ShuvH7725with you; foryou have rejectedמָאַ֙סְתָּה֙ma.'As.tahH3988the wordדְּבַ֣רde.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068has rejectedוַיִּמְאָסְךָ֣vai.yim.'a.se.KhaH3988you from beingמִהְי֥וֹתmih.YotH1961kingמֶ֖לֶךְMe.lekhH4428overעַל־'al-H5921Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478.”
