Exodus 9:22-32
22Now the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “StretchH5186 out your handH3027 towardH5921 the skyH8064, that 12hailH1259 may fallH1961 on allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714, on manH120 and on beastH929 and on everyH3605 plantH6212 of the fieldH7704, throughout the landH776 of EgyptH4714.” 23MosesH4872 stretchedH5186 out his staffH4294 towardH5921 the skyH8064, and the LordH3068 3sentH5414 4thunderH6963 and 5hailH1259, and fireH784 ranH1980 down to the earthH776. And the LordH3068 rainedH4305 hailH1259 on the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 24So there was hailH1259, and fireH784 6flashingH3947 continually in the midstH8432 of the hailH1259, veryH3966 severeH3515, suchH834 as had not beenH1961 in allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714 sinceH3975 it becameH1961 a nationH1471. 257The hailH1259 struckH5221 allH3605 that was in the fieldH7704 through allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714, bothH4480 manH120 and beastH929; the hailH1259 also struckH5221 everyH3605 plantH6212 of the fieldH7704 and shatteredH7665 everyH3605 treeH6086 of the fieldH7704. 268OnlyH7534 in the landH776 of GoshenH1657, whereH834H8033 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 were, there was noH3808 hailH1259.
27Then PharaohH6547 910sentH7971 for MosesH4872 and AaronH175, and saidH559 to them, “11I have sinnedH2398 thisH6471 timeH6471; the LordH3068 is the righteousH6662 oneH6662, and I and my peopleH5971 are the wickedH7563 onesH7563. 2812MakeH6279 supplicationH6279 to the LordH3068, for there has been enoughH7227 of God’sH430 13thunderH6963 and hailH1259; and 14I will letH7971 you goH7971, and you shall stayH5975 noH3808 longerH3254.” 29MosesH4872 saidH559 to him, “As soon as I goH3318 out of the cityH5892, I will 15spreadH6566 out my 16handsH3709 to the LordH3068; the 17thunderH6963 will ceaseH2308 and there will be hailH1259 noH3808 longerH5750, that you may knowH3045 that 18the earthH776 is the Lord’sH3068. 3019But as for you and your servantsH5650, I knowH3045 that 20you do not yetH2962 21fearH3372 22the LordH3068 GodH430.” 31(Now the flaxH6594 and the 23barleyH8184 were 24ruinedH5221, for the barleyH8184 was in the earH24 and the flaxH6594 was in budH1392. 32But the wheatH2406 and the speltH3698 were not 25ruinedH5221, for they ripen lateH648.)
