Exodus 9:22-32
22Now the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “ReachH5186 outH5186 with your handH3027 towardH5921 the skyH8064, so that 12hailH1259 may fallH1961 on allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714, on every personH120 and animalH929, and on everyH3605 plantH6212 of the fieldH7704, throughout the landH776 of EgyptH4714.” 23So MosesH4872 reachedH5186 outH5186 with his staffH4294 towardH5921 the skyH8064, and the LordH3068 3sentH5414 4thunderH6963 and 5hailH1259, and fireH784 ranH1980 down to the earthH776. And the LordH3068 rainedH4305 hailH1259 on the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 24So there was hailH1259, and fireH784 flashingH3947 intermittentlyH3947 in the midstH8432 of the hailH1259, which was veryH3966 heavyH3515, suchH834 as had not occurredH1961 in allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714 sinceH3975 it becameH1961 a nationH1471. 256The hailH1259 struckH5221 everythingH3605 that was in the fieldH7704 through allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714, from peopleH120 to animalsH929; the hailH1259 also struckH5221 everyH3605 plantH6212 of the fieldH7704, and shatteredH7665 everyH3605 treeH6086 of the fieldH7704. 267OnlyH7534 in the landH776 of GoshenH1657, whereH834H8033 the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 were, was there noH3808 hailH1259.
27Then PharaohH6547 89sentH7971 for MosesH4872 and AaronH175, and saidH559 to them, “10I have sinnedH2398 thisH6471 timeH6471; the LordH3068 is the righteousH6662 oneH6662, and I and my peopleH5971 are the wickedH7563 onesH7563. 2811PleadH6279 with the LordH3068, for there has been enoughH7227 of God’sH430 12thunderH6963 and hailH1259; and 13I will letH7971 you goH7971, and you shall stayH5975 noH3808 longerH3254.” 29MosesH4872 saidH559 to him, “As soon as I goH3318 outH3318 of the cityH5892, I will 14spreadH6566 outH6566 my 15handsH3709 to the LordH3068; the 16thunderH6963 will ceaseH2308 and there will noH3808 longerH5750 be hailH1259, soH4616 thatH4616 you may knowH3045 that 17the earthH776 is the Lord’sH3068. 3018But as for you and your servantsH5650, I knowH3045 that 19you do not yetH2962 20fearH3372 21the LordH3068 GodH430.” 31(Now the flaxH6594 and the 22barleyH8184 were 23ruinedH5221, for the barleyH8184 was in the earH24 and the flaxH6594 was in budH1392. 32But the wheatH2406 and the speltH3698 were not 24ruinedH5221, for they ripen lateH648.)
