15Wewaitedקַוֵּ֥הka.VehH6960for peaceלְשָׁל֖וֹםle.sha.LomH7965,but noוְאֵ֣יןve.'EinH369goodט֑וֹבTovH2896came;For a timeלְעֵ֥תle.'EtH6256of healingמַרְפֵּ֖הmar.PehH4832,but beholdוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009,terrorבְעָתָֽה׃ve.'a.TahH1205!

16FromDanמִדָּ֤ןmi.DanH1835is heardנִשְׁמַע֙nish.Ma'H8085the snortingנַחְרַ֣תnach.RatH5170of his horsesסוּסָ֗יוsu.SavH5483;At the soundמִקּוֹל֙mi.kOlH6963of the neighingמִצְהֲל֣וֹתmitz.ha.LotH4684of hisstallionsאַבִּירָ֔יו'a.bi.RavH47The wholeכָּל־kol-H3605landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776quakesרָעֲשָׁ֖הra.'a.ShahH7493;For they comeוַיָּב֗וֹאוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935anddevourוַיֹּֽאכְלוּ֙vai.yo.khe.LuH398the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776and its fullnessוּמְלוֹאָ֔הּu.me.lo.'AhH4393,The cityעִ֖יר'irH5892and its inhabitantsוְיֹ֥שְׁבֵיve.Yo.she.veiH3427.

17“For beholdH2009, I amsendingמְשַׁלֵּ֜חַme.sha.Le.achH7971serpentsנְחָשִׁים֙ne.cha.ShimH5175against you,Addersצִפְעֹנִ֔יםtzif.'o.NimH6848,for whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834thereH369isnoH369charmלָ֑חַשׁLa.chashH3908,And they will biteוְנִשְּׁכ֥וּve.ni.she.KhuH5391you,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

18Mysorrowיָג֑וֹןya.GonH3015is beyond healingמַבְלִ֥יגִיתִ֖יmav.Li.gi.TiH4010, Myheartלִבִּ֥יli.BiH3820is faintדַוָּֽי׃da.VaiH1742within me!

19Beholdהִנֵּה־hi.neh-H2009,listenק֞וֹלKolH6963!The cryשַֽׁוְעַ֣תshav.'AtH7775of the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of my peopleעַמִּ֗י'a.MiH5971from adistantמַרְחַקִּ֔יםmar.cha.KimH4801landמֵאֶ֙רֶץ֙me.'E.retzH776: “Is the Lordהַֽיהוָה֙ha.Yah.wehH3068not in Zionבְּצִיּ֔וֹןbe.tzi.YonH6726?Is her Kingמַלְכָּ֖הּmal.KahH4428not within her?” “Whyמַדּ֗וּעַma.Du.a'H4069have theyprovokedהִכְעִס֛וּנִיhikh.'i.Su.niH3707Me with their gravenH6456imagesH6456,with foreignנֵכָֽר׃ne.KharH5236idolsבְּהַבְלֵ֥יbe.hav.LeiH1892?”

20“Harvestקָצִ֖ירka.TzirH7105is pastעָבַ֥ר'a.VarH5674,summerקָ֑יִץKa.yitzH7019is endedכָּ֣לָהKa.lahH3615,And we are not savedנוֹשָֽׁעְנוּ׃no.Sha.'e.nuH3467.”

21For thebrokennessשֶׁ֥בֶרShe.verH7667of the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of my peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971I am brokenהָשְׁבָּ֑רְתִּיha.she.Ba.re.tiH7665; Imournקָדַ֕רְתִּיka.Dar.tiH6937,dismayשַׁמָּ֖הsha.MahH8047has takenH2388holdהֶחֱזִקָֽתְנִי׃he.che.zi.Ka.te.niH2388of me.
