14“Declareהַגִּ֤ידוּha.Gi.duH5046in Egyptבְמִצְרַ֙יִם֙ve.mitz.Ra.yimH4714and proclaimוְהַשְׁמִ֣יעוּve.hash.Mi.'uH8085inMigdolבְמִגְדּ֔וֹלve.mig.DolH4024,Proclaimוְהַשְׁמִ֥יעוּve.hash.Mi.'uH8085also in Memphisבְנֹ֖ףve.NofH5297andTahpanhesוּבְתַחְפַּנְחֵ֑סu.ve.tach.pan.ChesH8471;Sayאִמְר֗וּ'im.RuH559, ‘Takeהִתְיַצֵּב֙hit.ya.TzevH3320your standH3320and getH3559yourself readyH3559, For theswordחֶ֖רֶבChe.revH2719has devouredאָכְלָ֥ה'a.khe.LahH398those aroundסְבִיבֶֽיךָ׃se.vi.Vei.khaH5439you.’

15Whyמַדּ֖וּעַma.Du.a'H4069have yourmightyאַבִּירֶ֑יךָ'a.bi.Rei.khaH47onesH47becomeH5502prostrateH5502?They do not standעָמַ֔ד'a.MadH5975becauseכִּ֥יkiH3588the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hasthrustH1920them downH1920.

16They have repeatedlyהִרְבָּ֖הhir.BahH7235stumbledכּוֹשֵׁ֑לko.ShelH3782;Indeedגַּם־gam-H1571,they have fallenנָפַ֞לna.FalH5307oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376againstH413anotherרֵעֵ֗הוּre.'E.huH7453.Then they saidוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559, ‘Getק֣וּמָה׀Ku.mahH6965up! Andlet us goH7725backH7725To our own peopleעַמֵּ֗נוּ'a.Me.nuH5971and our nativeמֽוֹלַדְתֵּ֔נוּmo.lad.Te.nuH4138landאֶ֙רֶץ֙'e.retzH776Away from theswordחֶ֥רֶבChe.revH2719of the oppressorהַיּוֹנָֽה׃hai.yo.NahH3238.’

17They criedקָרְא֖וּka.re.'UH7121thereשָׁ֑םShamH8033, ‘Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֤הpar.'OhH6547kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714is buta bigH7588noiseH7588;He has let the appointedהַמּוֹעֵֽד׃ha.mo.'EdH4150timeH4150passהֶעֱבִ֖ירhe.'e.VirH5674by!’

19Makeעֲשִׂ֣י'a.SiH6213your baggageכְּלֵ֤יke.LeiH3627readyH6213forexileגוֹלָה֙go.LahH1473, Odaughterבַּת־bat-H1323dwellingיוֹשֶׁ֖בֶתyo.She.vetH3427in Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714, ForMemphisנֹף֙nofH5297will becomeתִֽהְיֶ֔הtih.YehH1961a desolationלְשַׁמָּ֣הle.sha.MahH8047;It will even be burnedH3341downH3341andbereftמֵאֵ֥יןme.'EinH4480 H369of inhabitantsיוֹשֵֽׁב׃ סyo.ShevH3427.

23They have cutכָּרְת֤וּka.re.TuH3772downH3772herforestיַעְרָהּ֙ya'.RahH3293,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068; “Surelyכִּ֖יkiH3588it will noלֹ֣אlo'H3808morebe foundיֵֽחָקֵ֑רye.cha.KerH2713,Even thoughכִּ֤יkiH3588they are nowmoreH4480numerousרַבּוּ֙ra.BuH7231thanH4480locustsמֵֽאַרְבֶּ֔הme.'ar.BehH697And are withoutוְאֵ֥יןve.'EinH369numberמִסְפָּֽר׃mis.ParH4557.

24The daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714has beenH954putהֹבִ֖ישָׁהho.Vi.shahH954to shameH954,Givenנִתְּנָ֖הni.te.NahH5414over to thepowerבְּיַ֥דbe.YadH3027of thepeopleעַם־'am-H5971of the northצָפֽוֹן׃tza.FonH6828.”

25The Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֜וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,saysאָמַר֩'a.MarH559, “BeholdH2009,I am going to punishפוֹקֵד֙fo.KedH6485Amonאָמ֣וֹן'a.MonH528ofThebesמִנֹּ֔אmi.No'H4996, andPharaohפַּרְעֹה֙par.'OhH6547,and Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714along with hergodsאֱלֹהֶ֖יהָ'e.lo.Hei.haH430and her kingsמְלָכֶ֑יהָme.la.Khei.haH4428,even Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֔הpar.'OhH6547and those whotrustהַבֹּטְחִ֖יםha.bo.te.ChimH982in him.

26I shall giveוּנְתַתִּ֗יםu.ne.ta.TimH5414them over to thepowerבְּיַד֙be.YadH3027of those who areseekingמְבַקְשֵׁ֣יme.vak.SheiH1245their livesנַפְשָׁ֔םnaf.ShamH5315,even into the handוּבְיַ֛דu.ve.YadH3027of Nebuchadnezzarנְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥רne.vu.khad.re.TzarH5019kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֖לba.VelH894and into the handוּבְיַד־u.ve.yad-H3027of hisofficersעֲבָדָ֑יו'a.va.DavH5650.Afterwardsוְאַחֲרֵי־ כֵ֛ןve.'a.cha.rei- khenH310 H3651,however, it will be inhabitedתִּשְׁכֹּ֥ןtish.KonH7931as in the daysכִּֽימֵי־ki.mei-H3117of oldקֶ֖דֶםKe.demH6924,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

27“But as for you, O Jacobיַֽעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290My servantעַבְדִּ֤י'av.DiH5650,do not fearתִּירָ֞אti.Ra'H3372,NorH408be dismayedתֵּחַ֣תte.ChatH2865,O Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478!For, seeH2009, I am going tosaveמוֹשִֽׁעֲךָ֙mo.shi.'a.KhaH3467you from afarמֵֽרָח֔וֹקme.ra.ChokH7350,And your descendantsזַרְעֲךָ֖zar.'a.KhaH2233from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of their captivityשִׁבְיָ֑םshiv.YamH7628;And Jacobיַעֲק֛וֹבya.'a.KovH3290will returnוְשָׁ֧בve.ShavH7725and beundisturbedוְשָׁקַ֥טve.sha.KatH8252And secureוְשַׁאֲנַ֖ןve.sha.'a.NanH7599,with noH369oneH369making himtrembleמַחֲרִֽיד׃ סma.cha.RidH2729.

28O Jacobיַֽעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290My servantעַבְדִּ֤י'av.DiH5650,do not fearתִּירָ֞אti.Ra'H3372,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “For I am with you.For I will makeאֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה'e.'e.SehH6213a fullH3617endH3617of allבְּכָֽל־be.kholH3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ha.go.YimH1471Whereאֲשֶׁ֧ר שָׁ֗מָּה'a.Sher Sha.mahH834 H8033I have drivenהִדַּחְתִּ֣יךָhi.dach.Ti.khaH5080you, Yet I willnot makeאֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה'e.'e.SehH6213a fullH3617endH3617of you; But I willcorrectוְיִסַּרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ve.yi.sar.Ti.khaH3256you properlyלַמִּשְׁפָּ֔טla.mish.PatH4941And by noH3808meansH5352leaveוְנַקֵּ֖הve.na.KehH5352you unpunishedאֲנַקֶּֽךָּ׃ ס'a.na.Ke.kaH5352.”
