14Declareהַגִּ֤ידוּha.Gi.duH5046ye in Egyptבְמִצְרַ֙יִם֙ve.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,and publishוְהַשְׁמִ֣יעוּve.hash.Mi.'uH8085in Migdolבְמִגְדּ֔וֹלve.mig.DolH4024,and publishוְהַשְׁמִ֥יעוּve.hash.Mi.'uH8085in Nophבְנֹ֖ףve.NofH5297and in Tahpanhesוּבְתַחְפַּנְחֵ֑סu.ve.tach.pan.ChesH8471:sayאִמְר֗וּ'im.RuH559ye, Stand fastהִתְיַצֵּב֙hit.ya.TzevH3320,and prepareוְהָכֵ֣ןve.ha.KhenH3559thee; for the swordחֶ֖רֶבChe.revH2719shall devourאָכְלָ֥ה'a.khe.LahH398round aboutסְבִיבֶֽיךָ׃se.vi.Vei.khaH5439thee.
16He made manyהִרְבָּ֖הhir.BahH7235to fallכּוֹשֵׁ֑לko.ShelH3782,yea, oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376fellנָפַ֞לna.FalH5307upon anotherרֵעֵ֗הוּre.'E.huH7453:and they saidוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559,Ariseק֣וּמָה׀Ku.mahH6965,and let us go againוְנָשֻׁ֣בָהve.na.Shu.vahH7725to our own peopleעַמֵּ֗נוּ'a.Me.nuH5971,and to the landאֶ֙רֶץ֙'e.retzH776of our nativityמֽוֹלַדְתֵּ֔נוּmo.lad.Te.nuH4138,fromמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440the oppressingהַיּוֹנָֽה׃hai.yo.NahH3238swordחֶ֥רֶבChe.revH2719.
18AsI liveחַי־chai-H2416,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,whose nameשְׁמ֑וֹshe.MoH8034isthe Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,Surely as Taborכְּתָב֣וֹרke.ta.VorH8396isamong the mountainsבֶּֽהָרִ֔יםbe.ha.RimH2022,and as Carmelוּכְכַרְמֶ֖לu.khe.khar.MelH3760by the seaבַּיָּ֥םbai.YamH3220, soshall he comeיָבֽוֹא׃ya.Vo'H935.
19O thou daughterבַּת־bat-H1323dwellingיוֹשֶׁ֖בֶתyo.She.vetH3427in Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,furnishעֲשִׂ֣י'a.SiH6213thyself to go into captivityכְּלֵ֤י גוֹלָה֙ke.Lei go.LahH1473H3627:for Nophנֹף֙nofH5297shall be wasteלְשַׁמָּ֣הle.sha.MahH8047and desolateוְנִצְּתָ֖הve.ni.tze.TahH3341without an inhabitantיוֹשֵֽׁב׃ סyo.ShevH3427.
21Also her hired menשְׂכִרֶ֤יהָse.khi.Rei.haH7916arein the midstבְקִרְבָּהּ֙ve.kir.BahH7130of her like fattedמַרְבֵּ֔קmar.BekH4770bullocksכְּעֶגְלֵ֣יke.'eg.LeiH5695;for they also are turned backהִפְנ֛וּhif.NuH6437, andare fled awayנָ֥סוּNa.suH5127togetherיַחְדָּ֖יוyach.DavH3162:they did not standעָמָ֑דוּ'a.Ma.duH5975,because the dayי֥וֹםYomH3117of their calamityאֵידָ֛ם'ei.DamH343was comeבָּ֥אba'H935upon them, andthe timeעֵ֥ת'etH6256of their visitationפְּקֻדָּתָֽם׃pe.ku.da.TamH6486.
22The voiceקוֹלָ֖הּko.LahH6963thereof shall goH3212like a serpentכַּנָּחָ֣שׁka.na.ChashH5175;for they shall marchH3212with an armyבְחַ֣יִלve.Cha.yilH2428,and comeבָּ֣אוּBa.'uH935against her with axesוּבְקַרְדֻּמּוֹת֙u.ve.kar.du.mOtH7134,as hewersכְּחֹטְבֵ֖יke.cho.te.VeiH2404of woodעֵצִֽים׃'e.TzimH6086.
23They shall cut downכָּרְת֤וּka.re.TuH3772her forestיַעְרָהּ֙ya'.RahH3293,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,though it cannot be searchedיֵֽחָקֵ֑רye.cha.KerH2713;because they are moreרַבּוּ֙ra.BuH7231than the grasshoppersמֵֽאַרְבֶּ֔הme.'ar.BehH697, and areinnumerableוְאֵ֥ין מִסְפָּֽר׃ve.'Ein mis.ParH4557H369.
25The Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֜וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,saithאָמַר֩'a.MarH559;Behold, I will punishפוֹקֵד֙fo.KedH6485the multitudeאָמ֣וֹן'a.MonH528H527of Noמִנֹּ֔אmi.No'H4996,and Pharaohפַּרְעֹה֙par.'OhH6547,and Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,with their godsאֱלֹהֶ֖יהָ'e.lo.Hei.haH430,and their kingsמְלָכֶ֑יהָme.la.Khei.haH4428;even Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֔הpar.'OhH6547, and allthem that trustהַבֹּטְחִ֖יםha.bo.te.ChimH982in him:

27But fearתִּירָ֞אti.Ra'H3372not thou, O my servantעַבְדִּ֤י'av.DiH5650Jacobיַֽעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290,and be not dismayedתֵּחַ֣תte.ChatH2865,O Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478:for, behold, I will saveמוֹשִֽׁעֲךָ֙mo.shi.'a.KhaH3467thee from afar offמֵֽרָח֔וֹקme.ra.ChokH7350,and thy seedזַרְעֲךָ֖zar.'a.KhaH2233from the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of their captivityשִׁבְיָ֑םshiv.YamH7628;and Jacobיַעֲק֛וֹבya.'a.KovH3290shall returnוְשָׁ֧בve.ShavH7725,and be in restוְשָׁקַ֥טve.sha.KatH8252and at easeוְשַׁאֲנַ֖ןve.sha.'a.NanH7599, and none shall make himafraidמַחֲרִֽיד׃ סma.cha.RidH2729.
28Fearתִּירָ֞אti.Ra'H3372thou not, O Jacobיַֽעֲקֹב֙ya.'a.KoH3290my servantעַבְדִּ֤י'av.DiH5650,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068: for I amwith thee; for I will makeאֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה'e.'e.SehH6213a full endכָלָ֜הkha.LahH3617of all the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ha.go.YimH1471whither I have drivenהִדַּחְתִּ֣יךָhi.dach.Ti.khaH5080thee: but I will not makeאֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה'e.'e.SehH6213a full endכָלָ֔הkha.LahH3617of thee, but correctוְיִסַּרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ve.yi.sar.Ti.khaH3256thee in measureלַמִּשְׁפָּ֔טla.mish.PatH4941;yet will I not leave thee whollyוְנַקֵּ֖הve.na.KehH5352unpunishedאֲנַקֶּֽךָּ׃ ס'a.na.Ke.kaH5352.
