4Now Jeremiahוְיִרְמְיָ֕הוּve.yir.me.Ya.huH3414was stillcomingבָּ֥אba'H935in and goingוְיֹצֵ֖אve.yo.Tze'H3318out amongבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the peopleהָעָ֑םha.'AmH5971, for they had not yetputנָתְנ֥וּna.te.NuH5414him in the prisonבֵּ֥ית הַכְּלֽוּא׃beit ha.ke.li'H1004 H3628.

5Meanwhile,Pharaoh’sפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547armyוְחֵ֥ילve.CheilH2428had setיָצָ֣אya.Tza'H3318out from Egyptמִמִּצְרָ֑יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714;and when the Chaldeansהַכַּשְׂדִּ֜יםha.kas.DimH3778who had been besiegingהַצָּרִ֤יםha.tza.RimH6696 H5921Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389heardוַיִּשְׁמְע֨וּvai.yish.me.'UH8085the reportשִׁמְעָ֔םshim.'AmH8088about them, theyliftedוַיֵּ֣עָל֔וּvai.Ye.'a.LuH5927the siegefrom Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ פye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

6Then the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068cameוַֽיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961to Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֥הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414the prophetהַנָּבִ֖יאha.na.Vi'H5030,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

8The Chaldeansהַכַּשְׂדִּ֔יםha.kas.DimH3778will alsoreturnוְשָׁ֙בוּ֙ve.Sha.vuH7725and fightוְנִלְחֲמ֖וּve.nil.cha.MuH3898againstעַל־'al-H5921thisH2088cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892,and they will captureוּלְכָדֻ֖הָu.le.kha.Du.haH3920it and burnוּשְׂרָפֻ֥הָu.se.ra.Fu.haH8313it with fireבָאֵֽשׁ׃ סva.'EshH784.”’
