14Everyכָּל־kol-H3605manאָדָם֙'a.DamH120isstupidנִבְעַ֤רniv.'ArH1197,devoidH4480of knowledgeמִדַּ֔עַתmi.Da.'atH1847;Everyכָּל־kol-H3605goldsmithצוֹרֵ֖ףtzo.RefH6884is putH954to shameH954by hisidolsמִפָּ֑סֶלmi.Pa.selH6459;For his moltenנִסְכּ֖וֹnis.KoH5262imagesH5262are deceitfulשֶׁ֥קֶרShe.kerH8267,And there is noוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808breathר֥וּחַRu.achH7307in them.

15They areworthlessהֶ֣בֶלHe.velH1892,a workמַעֲשֵׂ֖הma.'a.SehH4639of mockeryתַּעְתֻּעִ֑יםta'.tu.'ImH8595; In thetimeבְּעֵ֥תbe.'EtH6256of their punishmentפְּקֻדָּתָ֖םpe.ku.da.TamH6486they will perishיֹאבֵֽדוּ׃yo.Ve.duH6.

16Theportionחֵ֣לֶקChe.lekH2506of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֗בya.'a.KoH3290is not like theseכְאֵ֜לֶּהkhe.'E.lehH428; For theMakerיוֹצֵ֤רyo.TzerH3335of allהַכֹּל֙ha.KolH3605is He, AndIsraelוְיִ֨שְׂרָאֵ֔לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478is the tribeשֵׁ֖בֶטShe.vetH7626of His inheritanceנַֽחֲלָת֑וֹna.cha.la.ToH5159; TheLordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635is His nameשְׁמֽוֹ׃ סshe.MoH8034.

17Pickאִסְפִּ֥י'is.PiH622up your bundleכִּנְעָתֵ֑ךְkin.'a.TekhH3666from the groundמֵאֶ֖רֶץme.'E.retzH776,You who dwellיֹשֶׁ֖בֶתyo.shav.tiH3427under siegeבַּמָּצֽוֹר׃ סba.ma.TzorH4692!

18For thusכֹה֙khohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “BeholdH2009, I amslingingקוֹלֵ֛עַko.Le.a'H7049out the inhabitantsיוֹשְׁבֵ֥יyo.she.VeiH3427of the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776At thisH2088timeבַּפַּ֣עַםba.Pa.'amH6471,And will causeוַהֲצֵר֥וֹתִיva.ha.tze.Ro.tiH6887them distressH6887, That they maybe foundיִמְצָֽאוּ׃ סyim.Tza.'uH4672.”

19Woeא֥וֹי'oH188is me, becauseעַל־'al-H5921of myinjuryשִׁבְרִ֔יshiv.RiH7667! Mywoundמַכָּתִ֑יma.ka.TiH4347is incurableנַחְלָ֖הnach.LahH2470.But I saidאָמַ֔רְתִּי'a.Mar.tiH559, “Trulyאַ֛ךְ'akhH389thisזֶ֥הzehH2088is a sicknessחֳלִ֖יcho.LiH2483, And Imust bearוְאֶשָּׂאֶֽנּוּ׃ve.'e.sa.'E.nuH5375it.”

21For the shepherdsהָֽרֹעִ֔יםha.ro.'ImH7462have becomeH1197stupidH1197Andhave not soughtדָרָ֑שׁוּda.Ra.shuH1875the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068;Thereforeעַל־ כֵּן֙'al- kenH5921 H3651they have not prosperedהִשְׂכִּ֔ילוּhis.Ki.luH7919, Andallוְכָל־ve.kholH3605their flockמַרְעִיתָ֖םmar.'i.TamH4830is scatteredנָפֽוֹצָה׃ סna.Fo.tzahH6327.
