9NowδὲdeG1161thisG3778manτούτῳtoutōG3778hadἦσανēsanG1510fourτέσσαρεςtessaresG5064virginπαρθένοιparthenoiG3933daughtersθυγατέρεςthugateresG2364who wereprophetessesπροφητεύουσαι.¶prophēteuousaiG4395.

10As we were stayingἘπιμενόντωνEpimenontōnG1961there for someπλείουςpleiousG4183daysἡμέραςhēmerasG2250,a prophetπροφήτηςprophētēsG4396namedὀνόματιonomatiG3686AgabusἍγαβος,HagabosG13cameG2718downκατῆλθένkatēlthenG2718from JudeaG2453.

11And comingἐλθὼνelthōnG2064to us, hetookἄραςarasG142Paul’sΠαύλου,PaulouG3972beltζώνηνzōnēnG2223and boundδήσαςdēsasG1210his ownἑαυτοῦhe'autouG1438feetπόδαςpodasG4228and handsχεῖραςcheirasG5495,and saidλέγειlegeiG3004, “ThisG3592is whatG3592the Holyἅγιον·hagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151saysG3004: ‘In thisG3779wayοὕτωςhoutōsG3779the JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453at JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419willbindδήσουσινdēsousinG1210the manἄνδραandraG435whoοὗhouG3739ownsἐστινestinG1510thisαὕτη,hautēG3778beltζώνηzōnēG2223anddeliverπαραδώσουσινparadōsousinG3860him into the handsχεῖραςcheirasG5495of the Gentilesἐθνῶν.ethnōnG1484.’”

12WhenὡςhōsG5613we had heardἠκούσαμενēkousamenG191thisταῦτα,tautaG3778,we as wellτεteG5037as the localG1786residentsG1786beganbeggingπαρεκαλοῦμενparekaloumenG3870himnot to goἀναβαίνεινanabaineinG305up to JerusalemἸερουσαλήμ.IerousalēmG2419.

14And since he would not be persuadedπειθομένουpeithomenouG3982,we fellG2270silentἡσυχάσαμενhēsuchasamenG2270,remarkingG3004, “The willθέλημαthelēmaG2307of the LordκυρίουkuriouG2962be doneγινέσθω.¶ginesthōG1096!”
