Hosea 8:5-10
Thy calfH5695, O SamariaH8111, hath cast [thee] off; mine angerH639 is kindled against them: how long will they be incapable of purity?
For from IsraelH3478 is this also: — a workman madeH6213 it, and it is no 1GodH430: for the calfH5695 of SamariaH8111 shall beH1961 [broken in] pieces.
For they have sownH2232 the windH7307, and they shall reapH7114 the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; should it sprout, it would yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangersH2114 shall swallowH1104 it up.
IsraelH3478 is swallowedH1104 up: nowH6258 are they becomeH1961 among the nationsH1471 as a vesselH3627 wherein is no pleasureH2656.
For they are goneH5927 up [to] AssyriaH804 [as] a wildH6501 ass alone by himself: EphraimH669 hath hired lovers.
Although they hire among the nationsH1471, nowH6258 will I gatherH6908 them, and they shall beginH2490 to be straitened under the burdenH4853 of the kingH4428 of princesH8269.
