Ezra 9:13-15
13And after all that is comeH935 upon us for our evilH7451 deedsH4639 and for our greatH1419 trespass, seeing that thou our 1GodH430 hast punished us less than our iniquitiesH5771 [deserve], and hast givenH5414 us such deliveranceH6413 as this, 14should we again breakH6565 thy commandmentsH4687, and join in affinity with the peoplesH5971 of these abominationsH8441? wouldest thou not be angryH599 with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnantH7611 nor any to escapeH6413? 15Jehovah, 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478, thou art righteousH6662; for we are a remnantH7604 that is escapedH6413, as [it is] this dayH3117. Behold, we are before thee in our trespasses; for there is no standingH5975 before thee because of this.
