Ezra 9:13-15
13And after all that is comeH935 upon us for our evilH7451 deedsH4639, and for our greatH1419 guiltH5771, seeing that thou our GodH430 hast punished us less than our iniquitiesH5771 deserve, and hast givenH5414 us such a remnantH6413, 14shall we again breakH6565 thy commandmentsH4687, and join in affinity with the peoplesH5971 that do these abominationsH8441? wouldest not thou be angryH599 with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnantH7611, nor any to escapeH6413? 15O Jehovah, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, thou art righteousH6662; for we are leftH7604 a remnantH7604 that is escapedH6413, as it is this dayH3117: behold, we are before thee in our guiltiness; for none can standH5975 before thee because of this.
