Ezra 8:21-30

And I proclaimedH7121 a fastH6685 there, at the riverH5104 AhavaH163, that we might humble ourselves before our 1GodH430, to seekH1245 of him a rightH3477 wayH1870 for us, and for our littleH2945 onesH2945, and for all our substance.

For I was ashamedH954 to requireH1245 of the kingH4428 a band of soldiers and horsemenH6571 to helpH5826 us against the enemyH341 in the wayH1870; for we had spoken to the kingH4428 sayingH559, The handH3027 of our 2GodH430 is upon all them for goodH2896 that seekH1245 him; but his power and his angerH639 is against all them that forsakeH5800 him.

And we fastedH6684, and besought our 3GodH430 for this; and he was entreatedH6279 of us.

And I separatedH914 twelve of the chiefsH8269 of the priestsH3548, SherebiahH8274, HashabiahH2811, and tenH6235 of their brethren with them,

and I weighedH8254 to them the silverH3701 and the goldH2091 and the vesselsH3627, the heave-offering for the houseH1004 of our 4GodH430, which the kingH4428 and his counsellors and his princesH8269, and all IsraelH3478 present, had offeredH7311.

And I weighedH8254 into their handH3027 sixH8337 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 talentsH3603 of silverH3701; and silverH3701 vesselsH3627 a hundredH3967 talentsH3603, [and] of goldH2091 a hundredH3967 talentsH3603;

and twentyH6242 basons of goldH2091, of a thousandH505 daricsH150; and twoH8147 vesselsH3627 of shining copperH5178, preciousH2532 as goldH2091.

And I saidH559 to them, Ye are holyH6944 unto Jehovah; the vesselsH3627 also are holyH6944; and the silverH3701 and the goldH2091 is a voluntary offeringH5071 to Jehovah the 5GodH430 of your fathersH1.

WatchH8104 and keepH8104 [them] until ye weighH8254 them before the chiefsH8269 of the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881, and the chiefsH8269 of the fathersH1 of IsraelH3478, at JerusalemH3389, in the chambers of the houseH1004 of Jehovah.

And the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881 received by weightH4948 the silverH3701 and the goldH2091 and the vesselsH3627, to bringH935 them to JerusalemH3389 unto the houseH1004 of our 6GodH430.
