Ezra 10:10-14
And EzraH5830 the priestH3548 stoodH6965 up and saidH559 to them, Ye have actedH4603 unfaithfullyH4603, and have taken foreignH5237 wivesH802, to increaseH3254 the trespass of IsraelH3478.
And nowH6258 makeH5414 confession to Jehovah the 1GodH430 of your fathersH1, and do his pleasureH7522, and separateH914 yourselves from the peoplesH5971 of the landH776, and from the foreignH5237 wivesH802.
And the whole congregation answered and saidH559 with a loud voiceH6963, Yes, it is for us to do according to thy wordsH1697.
But the peopleH5971 are manyH7227, and it is a timeH6256 of pouring rainH1653, and it is not possible to standH5975 without: neither is this a workH4399 for oneH259 dayH3117 or twoH8147; for we are manyH7227 that have transgressedH6586 in this thingH1697.
Let now our princesH8269, while this matterH1697 is goingH935 on, standH5975 for all the congregation, and let all those that have taken foreignH5237 wivesH802 in our citiesH5892 comeH935 at the appointedH5975 timesH6256, and with them the eldersH2205 of every cityH5892, and the judgesH8199 thereof, until the fierce angerH639 of our 2GodH430 be turnedH7725 from us.
