Daniel 5:1-9

BelshazzarH1113 the kingH4430 made a greatH7229 feast to a thousandH506 of his nobles, and drankH8355 wineH2562 before the thousandH506.

BelshazzarH1113, while he tasted the wineH2562, commanded to bringH858 the golden and silverH3702 vesselsH3984 that NebuchadnezzarH5020 his fatherH2 had taken out of the templeH1965 which was in JerusalemH3390; that the kingH4430 and his nobles, his wives and his concubines, might drinkH8355 in them.

ThenH116 they broughtH858 the golden vesselsH3984 that were taken out of the temple of the houseH1005 of 1GodH426 which was at JerusalemH3390; and the kingH4430 and his nobles, his wives and his concubines, drankH8355 in them.

They drankH8355 wineH2562, and praised the 2godsH426 of goldH1722 and of silverH3702, of brass, of ironH6523, of wood, and of stoneH69.

In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's handH3028, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palaceH1965: and the kingH4430 sawH2370 the part of the handH3028 that wrote.

ThenH116 the king's countenance was changedH8133, and his thoughtsH7476 troubled him, and the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote oneH1668 against another.

The kingH4430 cried aloud to bringH5954 in the magicians, the ChaldeansH3779, and the astrologers. The kingH4430 spoke and saidH560 to the wiseH2445 men of BabylonH895, Whosoever shall readH7123 this writing, and shew me the interpretationH6591 thereof, shall be clothed with purple, and have a chain of goldH1722 about his neckH6676, and shall be the thirdH8523 rulerH7981 in the kingdomH4437.

ThenH116 came in all the king's wiseH2445 men, but they could not readH7123 the writing, nor makeH3046 knownH3046 to the kingH4430 the interpretationH6591.

ThenH116 was kingH4430 BelshazzarH1113 greatly troubled, and his countenance was changedH8133 in him, and his nobles were confounded.
