John 6:5-13

When JesusG2424 looked upG1869G3588G3788 andG2532 sawG2300 a largeG4183 crowdG3793 comingG2064 towardG4314 HimG846, He saidG3004 toG4314 PhilipG5376, “WhereG4159 can we buyG59 breadG740 forG2443 theseG3778 people to eatG5315?” 6ButG1161 He was askingG2036 thisG3778 to testG3985 himG846, forG1063 HeG846 knewG1492 whatG5101 He was aboutG3195 to doG4160.

PhilipG5376 answeredG611, “Two hundredG1250 denariiG12201 would not buy enoughG3756G714 breadG740 forG846G2443 each of themG1538 to haveG2983 aG5100 smallG1024 piece.”

OneG1520 ofG1537 HisG846 disciplesG3101, AndrewG406, SimonG4613 Peter’sG4074 brotherG80, saidG3004 to HimG846, 9“HereG5602 isG1510 a boyG3808 with fiveG4002 barleyG2916 loavesG740 andG2532 twoG1417 small fishG3795. ButG235 whatG5101 difference will these makeG1510G3778 amongG1519 so manyG5118?”

“HaveG4160 theG3588 people sit downG377,” JesusG2424 saidG2036. NowG1161 there wasG1510 plenty ofG4183 grassG5528 inG1722 that placeG5117, soG3767 theG3588 menG435 sat downG377, aboutG5613 five thousandG4000 of them.

ThenG3767 JesusG2424 tookG2983 theG3588 loavesG740 andG3668G2532 theG3588 fishG3795, gave thanksG2168, and distributedG1239 to thoseG3588 who were seatedG345 as much asG3745 they wantedG2309.

AndG1161 whenG5613 everyone was fullG1705, He saidG3004 toG3588 HisG846 disciplesG3101, “GatherG4863 theG3588 piecesG2801 that are left overG4052, so thatG2443 nothingG3361G5100 will be wastedG622.”

SoG3767 they collectedG4863 them andG2532 filledG1072 twelveG1427 basketsG2894 with the piecesG2801 ofG1537 theG3588 fiveG4002 barleyG2916 loavesG740 left overG4052 by thoseG3588 who had eatenG977.
