16Come nearקִרְב֧וּkir.VuH7126to Meאֵלַ֣י'e.LaiH413and listenשִׁמְעוּ־shim.'u-H8085to thisזֹ֗אתZotH2063:From the beginningמֵרֹאשׁ֙me.roShH7218I have notלֹ֤אlo'H3808spokenדִּבַּ֔רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696in secretבַּסֵּ֣תֶרba.Se.terH5643;from the timeמֵעֵ֥תme.'EtH6256it happenedהֱיוֹתָ֖הּhe.yo.TahH1961,Iאָ֑נִי'A.niH589was thereשָׁ֣םshamH8033.”And nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258the Lordאֲדֹנָ֧י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֛הYah.wehH3069has sent meשְׁלָחַ֖נִיshe.la.Cha.niH7971,accompanied by His Spiritוְרוּחֽוֹ׃ פve.ru.ChoH7307.

17Thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֧ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068your Redeemerגֹּאַלְךָ֖go.'al.KhaH1350,the Holyקְד֣וֹשׁke.Do.oshH6918One of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478: “Iאֲנִ֨י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,who teachesמְלַמֶּדְךָ֣me.la.med.KhaH3925you for your benefitלְהוֹעִ֔ילle.ho.'IlH3276,who directsמַדְרִֽיכֲךָ֖mad.ri.kha.KhaH1869you in the wayבְּדֶ֥רֶךְbe.De.rekhH1870you should goתֵּלֵֽךְ׃te.LekhH1980.

18If onlyל֥וּאlu'H3863you had paid attentionהִקְשַׁ֖בְתָּhik.Shav.taH7181to My commandmentsלְמִצְוֹתָ֑יle.mitz.vo.TaiH4687,your peaceשְׁלוֹמֶ֔ךָshe.lo.Me.khaH7965would have beenוַיְהִ֤יvay.HiH1961like a riverכַנָּהָר֙kha.na.HarH5104,and your righteousnessוְצִדְקָתְךָ֖ve.tzid.ka.te.ChaH6666like wavesכְּגַלֵּ֥יke.ga.LeiH1530of the seaהַיָּֽם׃hai.YamH3220.

19Your descendantsזַרְעֶ֔ךָzar.'E.khaH2233would have beenוַיְהִ֤יvay.HiH1961as countless as the sandכַחוֹל֙kha.chOlH2344,and your offspringוְצֶאֱצָאֵ֥י מֵעֶ֖יךָve.tze.'e.tza.'Ei me.'Ei.khaH6631 H4578as numerous as its grainsכִּמְעֹתָ֑יוkim.'o.TavH4579;their nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034would neverלֹֽא־lo'-H3808be cut offיִכָּרֵ֧ת וְֽלֹא־yi.ka.Ret ve.lo'-H3772 H3808or eliminatedיִשָּׁמֵ֛דyi.sha.MedH8045from My presenceמִלְּפָנָֽי׃mi.le.fa.NaiH6440.”

20Leaveצְא֣וּtze.'UH3318Babylonמִבָּבֶל֮mi.ba.VelH894!Fleeבִּרְח֣וּbir.ChuH1272from the Chaldeansמִכַּשְׂדִּים֒mi.kas.DimH3778!Declare itהַגִּ֤ידוּha.Gi.duH5046with a shoutבְּק֣וֹלbe.KolH6963of joyרִנָּ֗הri.NahH7440,proclaimהַשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙hash.Mi.'uH8085itזֹ֔אתZotH2063,let it go outהוֹצִיא֖וּהָho.tzi.'U.haH3318toעַד־'ad-H5704the endsקְצֵ֣הke.TzehH7097of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,sayingאִמְר֕וּ'im.RuH559, “The LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068has redeemedגָּאַ֥לga.'AlH1350His servantעַבְדּ֥וֹav.DoH5650Jacobיַעֲקֹֽב׃ya.'a.KoH3290!”

21They did notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808thirstצָמְא֗וּtza.me.'UH6770when He led themהֽוֹלִיכָ֔םho.li.KhamH1980through the desertsבָּחֳרָבוֹת֙bo.cho.ra.VotH2723;He made waterמַ֥יִםMa.yimH4325flowהִזִּ֣ילhi.ZilH5140for themfrom the rockמִצּ֖וּרmi.TzurH6697;He splitוַיִּ֨בְקַע־vai.Yiv.ka'-H1234the rockצ֔וּרTzurH6697,and waterמָֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325gushed outוַיָּזֻ֖בוּvai.ya.Zu.vuH2100.

22“There is noאֵ֣ין'einH369peaceשָׁל֔וֹםsha.LomH7965,”saysאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, “for the wickedלָרְשָׁעִֽים׃ סla.re.sha.'ImH7563.”
