Romans 7:7-14
7What shall we sayG3004 thenG3767? Is the lawG3551 sinG266? God forbid. Howbeit, I had not knownG1097 sinG266, except through the lawG3551: for I had not knownG1097 coveting, except the lawG3551 had saidG3004, Thou shalt not covetG1937: 8but sinG266, finding occasionG874, wrought in me through the commandmentG1785 all manner of coveting: for apartG5565 from the lawG3551 sinG266 is deadG3498. 9And I was aliveG2198 apartG5565 from the lawG3551 onceG4218: but when the commandmentG1785 cameG2064, sinG266 revived, and I died; 10and the commandmentG1785, which was unto lifeG2222, this I foundG2147 to be unto deathG2288: 11for sinG266, finding occasionG874, through the commandmentG1785 beguiled me, and through it slew me. 12So that the lawG3551 is holyG40, and the commandmentG1785 holyG40, and righteousG1342, and goodG18. 13Did thenG3767 that which is goodG18 becomeG1096 deathG2288 unto me? God forbid. But sinG266, that it might be shown to be sinG266, by working deathG2288 to me through that which is goodG18;—that through the commandmentG1785 sinG266 might becomeG1096 exceeding sinfulG268. 14For we know that the lawG3551 isG1510 spiritualG4152: but I amG1510 carnal, sold under sinG266.
