Romans 4:2-9
2For if AbrahamG11 was justifiedG1344 by worksG2041, he hath whereof to glory; but not toward GodG2316. 3For what saith the scriptureG1124? And AbrahamG11 believedG4100 GodG2316, and it was reckonedG3049 unto him for righteousnessG1343. 4NowG1161 to him that worketh, the rewardG3408 is not reckonedG3049 as of graceG5485, but as of debt. 5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodlyG765, his faithG4102 is reckonedG3049 for righteousnessG1343. 6EvenG2532 as DavidG1138 alsoG2532 pronounceth blessing upon the manG444, unto whom GodG2316 reckoneth righteousnessG1343 apartG5565 from worksG2041, 7saying,
9Is this blessing then pronounced upon the circumcisionG4061, or upon the uncircumcisionG203 alsoG2532? for we sayG3004, To AbrahamG11 his faithG4102 was reckonedG3049 for righteousnessG1343.
