Leviticus 25:35-43
35And if thy brotherH251 be waxed poor, and his handH3027 fail with thee; then thou shalt uphold him: as a stranger and a sojourner shall he liveH2421 with thee. 36TakeH3947 thou no interestH5392 of him or increase, but fearH3372 thy GodH430; that thy brotherH251 may liveH2421 with thee. 37Thou shalt not giveH5414 him thy moneyH3701 upon interestH5392, nor giveH5414 him thy victuals for increase. 38I am Jehovah your GodH430, who broughtH3318 you forthH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, to giveH5414 you the landH776 of CanaanH3667, and to beH1961 your GodH430.
39And if thy brotherH251 be waxed poor with thee, and sellH4376 himself unto thee; thou shalt not make him to serveH5647 as a bondservant. 40As a hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall beH1961 with thee; he shall serveH5647 with thee unto the yearH8141 of jubileeH3104: 41then shall he goH3318 out from thee, he and his children with him, and shall returnH7725 unto his ownH272 familyH4940, and unto the possessionH272 of his fathersH1 shall he returnH7725. 42For they are my servantsH5650, whom I broughtH3318 forthH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714: they shall not be soldH4376 as bondmen. 43Thou shalt not ruleH7287 over him with rigor, but shalt fearH3372 thy GodH430.
