John 5:36-40
36But the witnessG3140 which I have is greaterG3173 than that of JohnG2491; for the worksG2041 which the FatherG3962 hath givenG1325 me to accomplish, the very worksG2041 that I do, bear witnessG3140 of me, that the FatherG3962 hath sentG649 me. 37And the FatherG3962 that sentG3992 me, he hath borne witnessG3140 of me. Ye have neither heardG191 his voiceG5456 at any timeG4455, nor seenG3708 his formG1491. 38And ye have not his wordG3056 abidingG3306 in you: for whom he sentG649, him ye believeG4100 not. 39Ye searchG2045 the scripturesG1124, because ye thinkG1380 that in them ye have eternalG166 lifeG2222; and these areG1510 they which bearG3140 witnessG3140 of me; 40and ye willG2309 not comeG2064 to me, that ye may have lifeG2222.
