James 2:2-9
For if there comeG1525 into your synagogueG4864 a manG435 with a gold ring, in fine clothing, and there comeG1525 in alsoG2532 a poorG4434 manG435 in vile clothing;
and ye have regard to him that weareth the fine clothing, and sayG3004, SitG2521 thou hereG5602 in a goodG2573 place; and ye sayG3004 to the poorG4434 manG4434, StandG2476 thou there, or sitG2521 under my footstoolG5286;
do ye not make distinctions among yourselves, and becomeG1096 judgesG2923 with evilG4190 thoughtsG1261?
Hearken, my belovedG27 brethren; did not GodG2316 choose them that are poorG4434 as to the worldG2889 to be richG4145 in faithG4102, and heirsG2818 of the kingdomG932 which he promisedG1861 to them that loveG25 him?
But ye have dishonoredG818 the poorG4434 manG4145. Do not the richG4145 oppress you, and themselves drag you before the judgment-seats?
Do not they blasphemeG987 the honorable nameG3686 by which ye are calledG1941?
Howbeit if ye fulfil the royalG937 lawG3551, accordingG2596 to the scriptureG1124, Thou shalt loveG25 thy neighbor as thyself, ye do wellG2573:
but if ye have respect of persons, ye commit sinG266, being convictedG1651 by the lawG3551 as transgressorsG3848.
