Exodus 4:20-26
20And MosesH4872 tookH3947 his wifeH802 and his sonsH1121, and set them upon an ass, and he returnedH7725 to the landH776 of EgyptH4714: and MosesH4872 tookH3947 the rodH4294 of GodH430 in his handH3027. 21And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, WhenH834 thou goest backH7725 into EgyptH4714, seeH7200 that thou do before PharaohH6547 all the wondersH4159 which I have putH7760 in thy handH3027: but I will harden his heartH3820 and he will not let the peopleH5971 goH7971. 22And thou shalt sayH559 unto PharaohH6547, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, IsraelH3478 is my sonH1121, my first-born: 23and I have saidH559 unto thee, Let my sonH1121 goH7971, that he may serveH5647 me; and thou hast refusedH3985 to let him goH7971: behold, I will slayH2026 thy sonH1121, thy first-born. 24And it came to pass on the wayH1870 at the lodging-place, that Jehovah metH6298 him, and soughtH1245 to killH4191 him. 25Then ZipporahH6855 tookH3947 a flintH6864, and cutH3772 off the foreskinH6190 of her sonH1121, and cast it at his feetH7272; and she saidH559, Surely a bridegroom of bloodH1818 art thou to me. 26So he let him alone. ThenH227 she saidH559, A bridegroom of bloodH1818 art thou, because of the circumcision.
