Exodus 1:17-19
17But the midwives fearedH3372 GodH430, and did not as the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 commanded them, but saved the men-children aliveH2421. 18And the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 calledH7121 for the midwives, and saidH559 unto them, WhyH4069 have ye done this thingH1697, and have saved the men-children aliveH2421? 19And the midwives saidH559 unto PharaohH6547, Because the HebrewH5680 womenH802 are not as the EgyptianH4713 womenH802; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwife comeH935 unto them.
