2 Samuel 6:12-20
12And it was toldH5046 kingH4428 DavidH1732, sayingH559, Jehovah hath blessedH1288 the houseH1004 of Obed-edomH5654, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the arkH727 of GodH430. And DavidH1732 wentH5927 and broughtH5927 up the arkH727 of GodH430 from the houseH1004 of Obed-edomH5654 into the cityH5892 of DavidH1732 with joyH8057. 13And it wasH1961 so, that, when they that bare the arkH727 of Jehovah had gone sixH8337 paces, he sacrificedH2076 an oxH7794 and a fatlingH4806. 14And DavidH1732 danced before Jehovah with all his might; and DavidH1732 was girdedH2296 with a linenH906 ephodH646. 15So DavidH1732 and all the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 broughtH5927 up the arkH727 of Jehovah with shoutingH8643, and with the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782.
16And it wasH1961 so, as the arkH727 of Jehovah cameH935 into the cityH5892 of DavidH1732, that MichalH4324 the daughterH1323 of SaulH7586 lookedH7200 out at the windowH2474, and sawH7200 kingH4428 DavidH1732 leaping and dancingH3769 before Jehovah; and she despisedH959 him in her heartH3820. 17And they broughtH935 in the arkH727 of Jehovah, and set it in its placeH4725, in the midstH8432 of the tentH168 that DavidH1732 had pitchedH5186 for it; and DavidH1732 offeredH5927 burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before Jehovah. 18And when DavidH1732 had made an endH3615 of offeringH5927 the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessedH1288 the peopleH5971 in the nameH8034 of Jehovah of hostsH6635. 19And he dealt among all the peopleH5971, even among the whole multitudeH1995 of IsraelH3478, both to menH376 and womenH802, to every oneH259 a cakeH2471 of breadH3899, and a portion of flesh, and a cakeH2471 of raisins. So all the peopleH5971 departed every oneH259 to his houseH1004.
20Then DavidH1732 returnedH7725 to blessH1288 his householdH1004. And MichalH4324 the daughterH1323 of SaulH7586 cameH3318 out to meet DavidH1732, and saidH559, HowH4100 gloriousH3513 was the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 to-day, who uncoveredH1540 himself to-day in the eyesH5869 of the handmaids of his servantsH5650, as oneH259 of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!
