2 Samuel 9
1And DavidH1732 saidH559, Is there yetH5750 any that is leftH3498 of the houseH1004 of SaulH7586, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sakeH5668? 2And there was of the houseH1004 of SaulH7586 a servantH5650 whose nameH8034 was ZibaH6717, and they calledH7121 him unto DavidH1732; and the kingH4428 saidH559 unto him, Art thou ZibaH6717? And he saidH559, Thy servantH5650 is he. 3And the kingH4428 saidH559, Is there not yetH5750 any of the houseH1004 of SaulH7586, that I may show the kindness of GodH430 unto him? And ZibaH6717 saidH559 unto the kingH4428, JonathanH3083 hath yetH5750 a sonH1121, who is lame of his feetH7272. 4And the kingH4428 saidH559 unto him, WhereH375 is he? And ZibaH6717 saidH559 unto the kingH4428, Behold, he is in the houseH1004 of Machir the sonH1121 of AmmielH5988, in Lo-debarH3810. 5Then kingH4428 DavidH1732 sentH7971, and fetched him out of the houseH1004 of Machir the sonH1121 of AmmielH5988, from Lo-debarH3810. 6And MephiboshethH4648, the sonH1121 of JonathanH3083, the sonH1121 of SaulH7586, cameH935 unto DavidH1732, and fellH5307 on his faceH6440, and did obeisance. And DavidH1732 saidH559, MephiboshethH4648. And he answered, Behold, thy servantH5650! 7And DavidH1732 saidH559 unto him, FearH3372 not; for I will surely show thee kindness for JonathanH3083 thy father’sH1 sakeH5668, and will restoreH7725 thee all the landH7704 of SaulH7586 thy fatherH1; and thou shalt eatH398 breadH3899 at my tableH7979 continuallyH8548. 8And he did obeisance, and saidH559, What is thy servantH5650, that thou shouldest look upon such a deadH4191 dogH3611 as I am?
9Then the kingH4428 calledH7121 to ZibaH6717, Saul’s servantH5288, and saidH559 unto him, All that pertained to SaulH7586 and to all his houseH1004 have I givenH5414 unto thy master’sH113 sonH1121. 10And thou shalt till the landH127 for him, thou, and thy sonsH1121, and thy servantsH5650; and thou shalt bringH935 in the fruits, that thy master’sH113 sonH1121 may have breadH3899 to eatH398: but MephiboshethH4648 thy master’sH113 sonH1121 shall eatH398 breadH3899 alway at my tableH7979. Now ZibaH6717 had fifteen sonsH1121 and twentyH6242 servantsH5650. 11Then saidH559 ZibaH6717 unto the kingH4428, According to all that my lordH113 the kingH4428 commandeth his servantH5650, soH3651 shall thy servantH5650 do. As for MephiboshethH4648, saidH559 the kingH4428, he shall eatH398 at my tableH7979, as oneH259 of the king’sH4428 sonsH1121. 12And MephiboshethH4648 had a youngH1121 sonH1121, whose nameH8034 was MicaH4316. And all that dwelt in the houseH1004 of ZibaH6717 were servantsH5650 unto MephiboshethH4648. 13So MephiboshethH4648 dweltH3427 in JerusalemH3389; for he did eatH398 continuallyH8548 at the king’sH4428 tableH7979. And he was lameH6455 in both his feetH7272.
