2Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009, theLordלַֽאדֹנָ֔יla.do.NaiH136hath amightyחָזָ֤קcha.ZakH2389andstrongH2389one; as a tempest ofhailבָּרָ֖דba.RadH1259, a destroyingstormH2230, as a tempest ofmightyH2389watersמַ֣יִםMa.yimH4325overflowingשֹׁטְפִ֛יםsho.te.FimH7857, shall he castdownH3027to theearthלָאָ֖רֶץla.'A.retzH776with thehandבְּיָֽד׃be.YadH3027.

3Thecrownעֲטֶ֥רֶת'a.Te.retH5850of pride of thedrunkardsשִׁכּוֹרֵ֥יshi.ko.ReiH7910ofEphraimאֶפְרָֽיִם׃'ef.Ra.yimH669shall betroddenH7429underH7429footבְּרַגְלַ֖יִםbe.rag.La.yimH7272:

4and the fadingflowerצִיצַ֤תtzi.TzatH6733of hisgloriousH8597beautyH8597,whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834is on theheadרֹ֖אשׁroshH7218of the fatvalleyגֵּ֣יאgei'H1516, shall be as the firstripe figbeforeבְּטֶ֣רֶםbe.Te.remH2962thesummerקַ֔יִץKa.yitzH7019;whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834when he that lookethuponעַל־'al-H5921it seeth,whileבְּעוֹדָ֥הּbe.'o.DahH5750it is yet in hishandבְּכַפּ֖וֹbe.kha.PoH3709he eateth itupH7200.

5In thatdayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall theLORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068ofhostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635be for acrownלַעֲטֶ֣רֶתla.'a.Te.retH5850ofgloryH8597, and for adiademוְלִצְפִירַ֖תve.litz.fi.RatH6843ofbeautyH8597, unto the residue of hispeopleעַמּֽוֹ׃a.MoH5971:

6and for aspiritוּלְר֖וּחַu.le.Ru.achH7307ofjudgmentמִשְׁפָּ֑טmish.PatH4941to him that sitteth injudgmentהַמִּשְׁפָּ֔טha.mish.PatH4941, and forstrengthוְלִ֨גְבוּרָ֔הve.Lig.vu.RahH1369to them thatturnמְשִׁיבֵ֥יme.shi.VeiH7725backH7725thebattleמִלְחָמָ֖הmil.cha.MahH4421at thegateשָֽׁעְרָה׃ סSha.'e.rahH8179.

7Buttheseאֵ֙לֶּה֙'e.lehH428also haveerredH7686throughH4480wineבַּיַּ֣יִןbai.Ya.yinH3196, andthroughH4480strongוּבַשֵּׁכָ֖רu.va.she.KharH7941drinkבַשֵּׁכָ֜רva.she.KharH7941aregoneH8582astrayH8582; thepriestכֹּהֵ֣ןko.HenH3548and theprophetוְנָבִיא֩ve.na.Vi'H5030haveerredH7686throughH4480strongהַשֵּׁכָ֔רha.she.KharH7941drinkH7941, they areswallowedH1104upH1104ofwineהַיַּ֗יִןhai.Ya.yinH3196, they aregoneH8582astrayH8582throughH4480strongH7941drinkH7941; theyerrH8582in vision, they stumble injudgmentפְּלִילִיָּֽה׃pe.li.li.YahH6417.

8Forallכָּל־kol-H3605tablesשֻׁלְחָנ֔וֹתshul.cha.NotH7979arefullמָלְא֖וּmal.'UH4390ofvomitקִ֣יאki'H6892andfilthinessצֹאָ֑הtzo.'AhH6675,soכִּ֚יkiH3588that there isnoבְּלִ֖יbe.LiH1097placeמָקֽוֹם׃ סma.KomH4725clean.

9Whomמִי֙miH4310will heteachיוֹרֶ֣הyo.RehH3384knowledgeדֵעָ֔הde.'AhH1844? andwhomמִ֖יmiH4310will he make tounderstandיָבִ֣יןya.VinH995themessageשְׁמוּעָ֑הshe.mu.'AhH8052? them that areweanedגְּמוּלֵי֙ge.mu.LeiH1580from themilkמֵֽחָלָ֔בme.cha.LavH2461, and drawn from thebreastsמִשָּׁדָֽיִם׃mi.sha.Da.yimH7699?

10For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line;hereH8033alittleזְעֵ֥ירze.'EirH2191, there alittleזְעֵ֥ירze.'EirH2191.

11Nay, but bymenH5971of strangelipsשָׂפָ֔הsa.FahH8193and withanotherאַחֶ֑רֶת'a.Che.retH312tongueוּבְלָשׁ֖וֹןu.ve.la.ShonH3956will hespeakיְדַבֵּ֖רye.da.BerH1696to thispeopleהָעָ֥םha.'AmH5971:

12towhomאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀'a.SherH834hesaidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559, This is therestהָנִ֣יחוּha.Ni.chuH5117,giveH5117yerestH5117to him that iswearyלֶֽעָיֵ֔ףle.'a.YefH5889; and this is the refreshing: yet they wouldnotוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808hearשְׁמֽוֹעַ׃she.Mo.a'H8085.
