1Give earהַאֲזִ֣ינָהha.'a.Zi.nahH238to my prayerתְּפִלָּתִ֑יte.fi.la.TiH8605,O Godאֱ֭לֹהִים'E.lo.HimH430;and hideתִּ֝תְעַלַּ֗םtit.'a.LamH5956not thyself from my supplicationמִתְּחִנָּתִֽי׃mi.te.chi.na.TiH8467.

2Attendהַקְשִׁ֣יבָהhak.Shi.vahH7181unto me, and hearוַעֲנֵ֑נִיva.'a.Ne.niH6030me: I mournאָרִ֖יד'a.RidH7300in my complaintבְּשִׂיחִ֣יbe.si.ChiH7879,and make a noiseוְאָהִֽימָה׃ve.'a.Hi.mahH1949;

3Because of the voiceמִקּ֤וֹלmi.KolH6963of the enemyאוֹיֵ֗ב'o.YevH341,becauseמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the oppressionעָקַ֣ת'a.KatH6125of the wickedרָשָׁ֑עra.Sha'H7563:for they castיָמִ֥יטוּya.Mi.tuH4131afflictionאָ֝֗וֶן'A.venH205upon me, and in wrathוּבְאַ֥ףu.ve.'AfH639they hateיִשְׂטְמֽוּנִי׃yis.te.Mu.niH7852me.

4My heartלִ֭בִּיLi.biH3820is sore painedיָחִ֣ילya.ChilH2342withinבְּקִרְבִּ֑יbe.kir.BiH7130me: and the terrorsוְאֵימ֥וֹתve.'ei.MotH367of deathמָ֝֗וֶתMa.vetH4194are fallenנָפְל֥וּna.fe.LuH5307upon me.

5Fearfulnessיִרְאָ֣הyir.'AhH3374and tremblingוָ֭רַעַדVa.ra.'adH7461are comeיָ֣בֹאYa.vo'H935upon me, and horrorפַּלָּצֽוּת׃pa.la.TzutH6427hath overwhelmedוַ֝תְּכַסֵּ֗נִיva.te.kha.Se.niH3680me.

6And I saidוָאֹמַ֗רva.'o.MarH559,Oh thatיִתֶּן־yi.ten-H5414I had wingsאֵ֭בֶר'E.verH83like a doveכַּיּוֹנָ֗הkai.yo.NahH3123! for thenwould I fly awayאָע֥וּפָה'a.'U.fahH5774,and be at restוְאֶשְׁכֹּֽנָה׃ve.'esh.Ko.nahH7931.

7Lo, thenwould I wanderנְדֹ֑דne.DodH5074far offאַרְחִ֣יק'ar.ChikH7368, andremainאָלִ֖ין'a.LinH3885in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֣רba.mid.BarH4057.Selahסֶֽלָה׃Se.lahH5542.
