3And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091madeוַיַּעַשׂ־vai.ya.'as-H6213him sharpצֻרִ֑יםtzu.RimH6697knivesחַֽרְב֣וֹתchar.VotH2719,and circumcisedוַיָּ֙מָל֙vai.Ya.molH4135the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478at the hillגִּבְעַ֖תgiv.'AtH1389of the foreskinsהָעֲרָלֽוֹת׃ha.'a.ra.LotH6190.

5Nowכִּֽי־ki-H3588all the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971that came outהַיֹּֽצְאִ֑יםhai.yo.tze.'ImH3318were circumcisedמֻלִ֣יםmu.LimH4135:but all the peopleהָ֠עָםHa.'omH5971that werebornהַיִּלֹּדִ֨יםhai.yi.lo.DimH3209in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֥רba.mid.BarH4057by the wayבַּדֶּ֛רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870as they came forthבְּצֵאתָ֥םbe.tze.TamH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֖יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714, themthey had not circumcisedמָֽלוּ׃Ma.luH4135.

9And Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091,This dayהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117have I rolled awayגַּלּ֛וֹתִיga.Lo.tiH1556the reproachחֶרְפַּ֥תcher.PatH2781of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714from off you. 13And it came to pass, when Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁעַ֮ye.ho.shu.a'H3091was by Jerichoבִּירִיחוֹ֒bi.ri.ChoH3405,that he lifted upוַיִּשָּׂ֤אvai.yi.Sa'H5375his eyesעֵינָיו֙'ei.NavH5869and lookedוַיַּ֔רְאvai.Yar'H7200,and, behold, there stoodעֹמֵ֣ד'o.MedH5975a manאִישׁ֙'ishH376over against him with his swordוְחַרְבּ֥וֹve.char.BoH2719drawnשְׁלוּפָ֖הshe.lu.FahH8025in his handבְּיָד֑וֹbe.ya.DoH3027:and Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֤עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091wentH3212unto him, and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Artthou for us, or for our adversariesלְצָרֵֽינוּ׃le.tza.Rei.nuH6862?
