2Speakדַּבֵּ֛רda.BerH1696to the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Appoint outתְּנ֤וּte.NuH5414for you citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of refugeהַמִּקְלָ֔טha.mik.LatH4733,whereof I spakeדִּבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696unto you by the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃mo.ShehH4872:

3That the slayerרוֹצֵ֔חַro.Tze.achH7523that killethמַכֵּה־ma.keh-H5221anypersonנֶ֥פֶשׁNe.feshH5315unawaresבִּשְׁגָגָ֖הbish.ga.GahH7684andunwittinglyדָ֑עַתDa.'atH1847may fleeלָנ֥וּסla.NusH5127thither: and they shall be your refugeלְמִקְלָ֔טle.mik.LatH4733from the avengerמִגֹּאֵ֖לmi.go.'ElH1350of bloodהַדָּֽם׃ha.DamH1818.

4And when he that doth fleeוְנָ֞סve.NasH5127unto oneאַחַ֣ת׀'a.ChatH259of those citiesמֵהֶעָרִ֣יםme.he.'a.RimH5892shall standוְעָמַד֙ve.'a.MadH5975at the enteringפֶּ֚תַחPe.tachH6607of the gateשַׁ֣עַרSha.'arH8179of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892,and shall declareוְדִבֶּ֛רve.di.BerH1696his causeדְּבָרָ֑יוde.va.RavH1697in the earsבְּאָזְנֵ֛יbe.'a.ze.NeiH241of the eldersזִקְנֵ֥י־zik.Nei-H2205of that cityהָעִֽירha.'ir-H5892,they shall takeוְאָסְפ֨וּve.'a.se.FuH622him into the cityהָעִ֙ירָה֙ha.'I.rahH5892unto them, and giveוְנָתְנוּ־ve.na.te.nu-H5414him a placeמָק֖וֹםma.KomH4725,that he may dwellוְיָשַׁ֥בve.ya.ShavH3427among them.

5And if the avengerגֹּאֵ֤לgo.'ElH1350of bloodהַדָּם֙ha.DamH1818pursueיִרְדֹּ֜ףyir.DofH7291afterאַֽחֲרָ֔יו'a.cha.RavH310him, then they shall not deliverיַסְגִּ֥רוּyas.Gi.ruH5462the slayerהָרֹצֵ֖חַha.ro.Tze.achH7523up into his handבְּיָד֑וֹbe.ya.DoH3027;because he smoteהִכָּ֣הhi.KahH5221his neighbourרֵעֵ֔הוּre.'E.huH7453unwittinglyבִבְלִי־ דַ֙עַת֙viv.li- da.'atH1847 H1097,and hatedשֹׂנֵ֥אso.Ne'H8130him not beforetimeמִתְּמ֥וֹל שִׁלְשֽׁוֹם׃mi.te.Mol shil.ShomH8032 H8543.

6And he shall dwellוְיָשַׁ֣ב׀ve.ya.ShavH3427in that cityבָּעִ֣ירba.'IrH5892,until he standעָמְד֞וֹa.me.DoH5975beforeלִפְנֵ֤יlif.NeiH6440the congregationהָֽעֵדָה֙ha.'e.DahH5712for judgmentלַמִּשְׁפָּ֔טla.mish.PatH4941, anduntil the deathמוֹת֙mOtH4194of the highהַגָּד֔וֹלha.ga.DolH1419priestהַכֹּהֵ֣ןha.ko.HenH3548thatH834shall be in those daysבַּיָּמִ֣יםbai.ya.MimH3117:then shall the slayerהָרוֹצֵ֗חַha.ro.Tze.achH7523returnיָשׁ֣וּבya.ShuvH7725,and comeוּבָ֤אu.Va'H935unto his own cityעִירוֹ֙i.RoH5892,and unto his own houseבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004,unto the cityהָעִ֖ירha.'IrH5892from whence he fledנָ֥סnasH5127.

7And they appointedוַיַּקְדִּ֜שׁוּvai.yak.Di.shuH6942Kedeshקֶ֤דֶשׁKe.deshH6943in Galileeבַּגָּלִיל֙ba.ga.LilH1551in mountבְּהַ֣רbe.HarH2022Naphtaliנַפְתָּלִ֔יnaf.ta.LiH5321,and Shechemשְׁכֶ֖םshe.KhemH7927in mountבְּהַ֣רbe.HarH2022Ephraimאֶפְרָ֑יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669,and Kirjath–arbaH7153, which isHebronחֶבְר֖וֹןchev.RonH2275,in the mountainבְּהַ֥רbe.HarH2022of Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.
