18Then Shaphanשָׁפָ֤ןsha.FanH8227the scribeהַסּוֹפֵר֙ha.so.FerH5608toldוַיַּגֵּ֞דvai.ya.GedH5046the kingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֖הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518the priestהַכֹּהֵ֑ןha.ko.HenH3548hath givenנָ֣תַןNa.tanH5414me a bookסֵ֚פֶרSe.ferH5612.And Shaphanשָׁפָ֖ןsha.FanH8227readוַיִּקְרָא־vai.yik.ra'-H7121it beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

19And it came to pass, when the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428had heardכִּשְׁמֹ֣עַkish.Mo.a'H8085the wordsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of the lawהַתּוֹרָ֑הha.to.RahH8451,that he rentוַיִּקְרַ֖עvai.yik.Ra'H7167his clothesבְּגָדָֽיו׃be.ga.DavH899.

20And the kingהַמֶּ֡לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428commandedוַיְצַ֣וvay.TzavH6680Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֡הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518,and Ahikamאֲחִיקָ֣ם'a.chi.KamH296the sonבֶּן־be.no.Sha-H1121of Shaphanשָׁ֠פָןSha.fanH8227,and Abdonעַבְדּ֨וֹןav.DonH5658the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Micahמִיכָ֜הmi.KhahH4318,and Shaphanשָׁפָ֣ןsha.FanH8227the scribeהַסּוֹפֵ֗רha.so.FerH5608,and Asaiahעֲשָׂיָ֥ה'a.sa.YahH6222a servantעֶֽבֶד־'e.ved-H5650of the king’sהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,
